This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to multi-link traffic steering. A device may establish one or more links with a station multi-link device (STA MLD), wherein the STA MLD comprises one or more logical entities defining separate station devices. The device may generate a traffic indication map (TIM) bitmap of a plurality of bits, wherein one or more bits are associated with an association identification (AID) corresponding to the STA MLD. The device may set the one or more bits to a first value to indicate that there is data to be retrieved by the STA MLD on any of the one or more links. The device may generate one or more beacon frames each comprising a same TIM element, wherein the TIM element comprises the TIM bitmap. The device may cause to send one or more beacon frames on each of the one or more links.

Multi-link traffic steering with traffic indication map

For example, a wireless communication device may be configured to determine an expected interference-based value corresponding to an Uplink (UL) transmission from a wireless communication station (STA) in a Trigger-Based (TB) Multi-User (MU) UL transmission to be communicated from a plurality of STAs to the wireless communication device; to determine one or more transmit (Tx) configuration parameters for the STA based on the expected interference-based value corresponding to the UL transmission from the STA; and to transmit a trigger frame to trigger the TB MU UL transmission, the trigger frame including the one or more Tx configuration parameters to configure the UL transmission from the STA.

Apparatus, system and method of configuring an uplink transmission in a trigger-based multi-user uplink transmission

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to traffic indications for multi-link devices (MLDs). A device may generate a first traffic indication map (TIM) with a first bitmap including a first indication that traffic is to be sent by a first access point (AP) device of the MLD to a first non-AP device of a second MLD using a first communication link. The device may generate a second TIM with a second bitmap including a second indication that no traffic is to be sent by a second AP device of the MLD to a second non-AP device of the second MLD using a second communication link. The device may send, using the first communication link, the beacon, the beacon including the first TIM and the second TIM. The device may send, using the first communication link, a data frame to the first non-AP device of the second MLD.

Enhanced traffic indications for multi-link wireless communication devices

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to multi-link power save indication. A device may establish two or more links with a non-access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD). The device may connect a first AP of the AP MLD to a first station device (STA) of the non-AP MLD using a first link. The device may connect a second AP of the AP MLD to a second STA of the non-AP MLD using a second link. The device may use a link bitmap field included in a frame, wherein the link bitmap field comprises a first bit associated with the first STA and a second bit associated with the second STA. The device may communicate with the non-AP MLD based on the link bitmap.

Method of multi-link power save indication

For example, a wireless communication device may be configured to, based on a grouping criterion, select from a plurality of STAs a group of two or more STAs for a Trigger-Based (TB) Multi-User (MU) UL OFDMA control frame transmission to be communicated from the group of two or more STAs to the wireless communication device, the grouping criterion based on two or more RSSI values corresponding to the two or more STAs, respectively; to transmit a trigger frame to trigger the TB MU UL OFDMA control frame transmission, the trigger frame including two or more STA Identifiers to identify the two or more STAs, respectively; and to process the TB MU UL OFDMA control frame transmission from the group of two or more STAs, the TB MU UL OFDMA control frame transmission including two or more control frames from the two or more STAs, respectively.

A cellular wakeup receiver (C-WuRx) for reducing power consumption of a wireless wide area network (WWAN) radio of a user equipment (UE) includes receiver circuitry to receive a wakeup signal from a base station in response to the UE performing link aggregation by which downlink communications from the base station are offloaded to a wireless local area network (WLAN). The C-WuRx also includes processing circuitry to configure the receiver circuitry to periodically monitor at least a portion of a WWAN band for the wakeup signal and process the wakeup signal to cause the WWAN radio to resume receiving the downlink communications from the base station.

The device may determine, based on the request frame, a power save mode associated with each of the STAs of the non-AP MLD. The device may communicate with the non-AP MLD based on the power save mode.
