The disclosed subject matter relates to a display device having at least a first and a second panel, each of which comprises luminous elements arranged in rows and columns and which can be aligned with one another to form a gap running parallel to the columns, at least one connecting element for holding the panels in their aligned position, a measuring device which determines a width of the gap for a row of the first panel, and a driver which controls said luminous element as a function of both the signal and the gap width determined for said row. The disclosed subject matter further relates to a panel and a control method for said display device.

A swivel and fanning drive for solar panels, including a base support, a swivel plate mounted pivotingly about a horizontal axis, and a plurality of solar panels that can be fanned in and out about a fan-out axis. The swivel plate can be pivoted by at least one crank and connecting rod. Pivotal movement of the swivel plate about a vertical axis can cause the solar panels to be fanned-in or fanned-out. A brake can resist movement of the solar panels about the fan-out axis.

The invention relates to a display arrangement including a foot which supports a plurality of panels, which are flexibly interconnected by means of connecting elements, a lifting device and a receiving device that can be lowered into the ground. The invention relates to a foldable display device, consisting of several panels arranged in parallel to each other, which are movably connected with each other. In order to create a display device that may remain locally fixed, there is provided that the display device is not configured simply foldable but in addition is provided with a housing device, which may accommodate the display device in its folded condition.
