Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a measurement system. In one example embodiment, a measurement system is disclosed including a flat measurement element receptacle and at least one piezoelectric measurement element. The flat measurement element receptacle having substantially parallel cover surfaces, and is installed between torque- and/or force-transmitting machine parts. The at least one piezoelectric measurement element arranged in a through-opening of the measurement element receptacle and mechanically fixed, with play, in the through-opening.

The invention relates to a method for adjusting a piezoelectric torque sensor of a measuring apparatus, which can be part of a test bench, for determining a torque applied to a test piece due to a force flux, wherein the measuring apparatus comprises a piezoelectric torque sensor and a second torque sensor based on a different measuring principle which is designed to continuously detect static torques, wherein the measuring apparatus is configured such that both torque sensors measure torques in the force flux, whereby a target measurement signal of the piezoelectric torque sensor is determined on the basis of a torque measurement by the second torque sensor, and whereby the detected measurement signal of the piezoelectric torque sensor is adjusted and output on the basis of the determined target measurement signal.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a piezoelectric device having at least one piezoelectric element, which has a support plane oriented to a force introduction element, wherein in the event of a thermal loading of the piezoelectric device in the support plane, expansion differences between the piezoelectric element and the force introduction element occur. To compensate for shear loadings, at least one transition element is arranged between the piezoelectric element and the force introduction element, the E-module of which is smaller than the E-module of the piezoelectric element in the support plane.

Piezoelectric pressure transducer

A piezoelectric sensor, preferably a pressure sensor, comprising at least two piezoelectric measuring elements placed in a housing, which are clamped between a membrane on the pressured side of the housing and a pick-up electrode electrically insulated against the housing. The piezoelectric measuring elements are fixedly attached to the pick-up electrode by thermo-compression or soldering and together with said pick-up electrode form a compact measuring element stack, which will significantly simplify assembly of the piezoelectric sensor.

The invention relates to a glow plug with integrated pressure sensor for measuring pressure in the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, where the shell of the glow plug has a section of reduced diameter on the side next to the combustion chamber and following a sealing cone, which section houses a glow coil and ends in a tip extending into the combustion chamber, and where the pressure sensor is positioned without cooling in the section of the glow plug next to combustion chamber. According to the invention the pressure sensor is subjected to pressure in radial direction, the glow coil of the glow plug or the electrical leads of the glow coil being guided towards the tip of the glow plug either by bypassing the pressure sensor or going through the pressure sensor.
