Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a radio network node of a communication network. The communication network comprises a first set of functionalities belonging to a first network slice of a first core network node, and a second set of functionalities belonging to a second network slice of a second core network node or the first core network node. The radio network node obtains paging identities comprising first and second paging identities of a wireless device; receives a paging indication for the wireless device from the second network slice; initiates a matching process for matching the second paging identity in the paging indication to the paging identities for locating context of the wireless device; and pages, upon a match of the matching process, the wireless device, for communication with the second network slice, using the context.

Radio network node, communication device and methods performed therein

A method performed by a core network node for handling communication for a wireless device in a communication network, wherein the communication network comprises partitioned sets of functionalities. A first set of functionalities belongs to a first network slice supporting the wireless device, and a second set of functionalities belongs to a second network slice supporting the wireless device, and which first and second sets of functionalities are separated from one another and other sets of functionalities. The core network node obtains a common identity for defining paging occasion for the wireless device for paging from the first network slice and the second network slice. The core network node receives a paging request for the wireless device from the first network slice when the wireless device is in idle mode, and the core network node initiates a paging procedure of the wireless device by using the obtained common identity.

Core network node, radio network node, wireless device and methods performed therein

A method of establishing a key related to at least two network instances is disclosed performed in a network node. The network instances are used in serving a communication device. The method comprises obtaining a first key relating to at least a first network instance; obtaining a second key relating to an additional network instance; determining, based on the first key and the second key, a joint key for use in protecting communication with the communication device on the at least first network instance and on the additional network instance. Methods, nodes and communication device for establishing a key related to at least two network instances

A method in a system for providing information about an association between an IP address of a UE and an ICCID of a SIM card used in the UE in a first security domain to an entity in a second security domain. The system comprises a MME, an HSS and a PDN-GW. The method comprises the MME retrieving at least the ICCID and optionally an IP address for the UE from the HSS, and sending the ICCID and optionally the IP address towards the PDN-GW. The method comprises the HSS receiving a request from the MME, and sending the ICCID and optionally the IP address to the MME. Still further, the method comprises the PDN-GW receiving the ICCID and optionally the IP address, if no IP address is received then the PDN-GW assigning an IP address, associating the IP address with the ICCID and informing the entity in the second security domain about the association between the IP address and ICCID in the first security domain.
