Apparatuses are disclosed which include a lamp assembly having a germicidal lamp configured to emit ultraviolet light and a base supporting the germicidal lamp. The apparatuses further include a support structure holding operational components for the apparatus and an automated actuator for moving the base and the germicidal lamp relative to the support structure. In addition, the apparatuses include a processor and a storage medium having program instructions which are executable by the processor for activating the automated actuator such that the base and the germicidal lamp are repositioned relative to the support structure while the germicidal lamp is emitting ultraviolet light.

Ultraviolet lamp apparatuses which move their lamp/s while emitting light

Apparatuses are disclosed having an ultraviolet lamp, a reflector system arranged to project light emitted from the lamp to a region 2-4 feet from a floor of a room in which the apparatus is arranged, and a mobile carriage with operational components for the apparatus. The apparatuses are configured such that the lamp is not moveable beyond vertical planes aligned with a casing of the carriage. Other apparatuses are disclosed having an ultraviolet lamp and configurations for moving the lamp relative to a structure of the apparatuses while the lamp is emitting light. Yet other apparatuses are disclosed having an ultraviolet lamp and a surrounding housing, a reflector to redirect light emitted from the lamp, an actuator for moving the reflector and the housing together relative to a structure supporting the lamp, and a rotator distinct from the actuator for rotating the reflector and housing relative to the structure.

Ultraviolet lamp apparatuses having an automated actuator for moving its lamp while emitting light

Apparatuses are disclosed which include one or more lamps configured to emit germicidal light, wherein the apparatuses are configured such that germicidal light emitted from the one or more lamps is projected exterior to the apparatus. The apparatuses further include wheels arranged along a bottom of the apparatus and a motor to provide automated mobility of the apparatus across at least a part of a room or area in which the apparatus is arranged. Moreover, the apparatuses include a processor and a storage medium having program instructions which are executable by the processor for activating the motor such that the apparatus is moved within the room or area while the one or more lamps are emitting germicidal light.

Ultraviolet lamp apparatuses having automated mobility while emitting light

In an embodiment of the invention, there is shown a bottle having a plurality of shoulder faceted sections and a plurality of bottom faceted section positioned into the shoulder and lower well of the bottle respectively. A triangulated cylinder is formed into the bottle by having pairs of obtuse triangles with a shared side of the triangles located opposite their obtuse angles forming polygons around the triangulated cylinder and in a number of rows between the shoulder and lower well of the bottle. The body of the bottle is made of a material configured to allow the bottle to be compressible and expandable.

Apparatuses are disclosed which have an ultraviolet light lamp, a housing transparent to ultraviolet light surrounding the lamp and an exhaust duct extending from a gas outlet of the housing into a support structure that has an outlet disposed along its lower half portion or its bottom surface. Other embodiments of apparatuses are disclosed which have a pulsed ultraviolet light lamp and a sensor system to monitor and determine when to replace the pulsed lamp based on pulse count.

Ultraviolet lamp room/area disinfection apparatuses having integrated cooling systems

Apparatuses are disclosed which include an ultraviolet light (UV) lamp and program instructions for activating an automated actuator such that the lamp is repositioned within the apparatus relative to a structure supporting the lamp while the lamp is emitting ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet lamp apparatuses with one or more moving components

Apparatuses are disclosed having an ultraviolet lamp and a reflector system arranged to project light emitted from the lamp to a region 2-4 feet from a floor of a room in which the apparatus is arranged. The apparatuses include a mobile carriage with wheels and one or more compartments underneath the lamp that hold operational components for the apparatus. The apparatuses are configured such that the lamp is not moveable beyond vertical planes aligned with a casing of the carriage. In some cases, a lowermost surface of the lamp is arranged at an elevation substantially level with or above an upper surface of the casing that is at least 36 inches above the floor of the room. In addition or alternatively, the carriage may include a handle exterior to its casing having an uppermost surface arranged at substantially the same level or lower than a lowermost surface of the lamp.

Mobile ultraviolet lamp apparatuses having a reflector system that redirects light to a high touch area of a room

A liquid container lid includes a seal arm assembly that stages opening and closing of a vent hole relative to a drink hole so that vapor within the liquid container may be vented to the atmosphere before the drink hole is opened. The liquid container lid and seal arm assembly reduce or eliminate the possibility of a consumer being injured by the hot vapor exiting through the drink hole due to excess gas pressure within the liquid container. The seal arm assembly is operatively connected to a cap of the liquid container lid so that the seal arm assembly is actuated by rotation of the cap. As the cap is turned in one direction, the seal arm assembly opens the vent hole before opening the drink hole. As the cap is turned in a second direction, the seal arm assembly closes the drink hole before closing the vent hole.

Apparatuses having an ultraviolet light lamp are disclosed, where ultraviolet light is projected exterior to the apparatus and, in some embodiments, to a region 2-4 feet from a floor of a room in which the apparatus is arranged. In some cases, an apparatus includes a mobile carriage supporting the lamp and the apparatus is configured such that the lamp is not moveable beyond vertical planes aligned with a casing of the mobile carriage. Additional or alternative embodiments of apparatuses include a housing transparent to ultraviolet light surrounding the lamp and an exhaust duct extending from a gas outlet of the housing into a support structure that has an outlet disposed along its lower half portion or its bottom surface. Other embodiments of apparatuses include a pulsed ultraviolet light lamp and a sensor system to monitor and determine when to replace the pulsed lamp based on pulse count.

The apparatuses disclosed herein include a discharge lamp configured to emit ultraviolet and visible light, an optical filter configured to attenuate visible light, and a power circuit configured to operate the discharge lamp. Some embodiments of the apparatuses are configured such that ultraviolet light emitted from the discharge lamp and passed through the optical filter encircles an exterior surface of the apparatus. Some cases of the apparatuses include a sensor system configured to monitor a first parameter associated with the operation of the discharge lamp and a second parameter associated with the transmittance of the optical filter. Some of the apparatuses include a means for moving the optical filter while the apparatus is in operation. In some cases, the apparatuses may be configured such that the optical filter may be arranged in and out of alignment with the discharge lamp. In some embodiments, the optical filter may be a multifaceted.

Ultraviolet discharge lamp apparatuses having lamp housings which are transparent to ultraviolet light

Apparatuses are disclosed which include a discharge lamp configured to emit ultraviolet light, a power circuit configured to operate the discharge lamp, and a reflector system configured to redirect ultraviolet light emitted from the discharge lamp. In some embodiments, the apparatuses include a support structure containing the power circuit and supporting the discharge lamp. In some of such embodiments, the reflector system is configured to redirect ultraviolet light propagating away from the support structure to a region exterior to the apparatus and which is between approximately 2 feet and approximately 4 feet from a floor of a room in which the apparatus is arranged. In other embodiments, the reflector system may be additionally or alternatively configured to redirect ultraviolet light propagating away from the support structure to encircle an exterior surface of the apparatus. In any case, the reflector system may, in some embodiments, include a repositionable reflector.

Ultraviolet discharge lamp apparatuses having optical filters which attenuate visible light

Devices are provided which include a component assembly for detecting inward, outward and sideways door movement. A component of the assembly extending from a structure comprises a distal end for contacting a door face when the structure is arranged in proximity to the door face. Systems are provided which include a portable stand, a door movement sensor attached to the stand, a proximity sensor, and a user interface. The system is configured to transmit signals to the user interface when the proximity sensor has been placed a predetermined distance from a door face and when door movement occurs. Apparatuses are provided which include program instructions for receiving input regarding a number of entryways of a room and inhibiting commencement of a task for which an apparatus arranged in the room is configured to perform until a number of signals received from a door movement sensor equals the number of entryways.
