A computerized system and method for preparing at least one tax return, including, but not limited to: accepting tax information, by at least one accounting module, for the at least one tax return from at least one user; processing the tax information, at the at least accounting module, so that at least one third party tax software application can utilize the tax information to calculate the at least one tax return; and providing calculated results of the at least one tax return, from the at least one accounting module, to the at least one user; wherein third-party software is utilized to calculate the at least one tax return so that the at least one accounting module does not need to calculate the at least one tax return.

Method and system for providing accounting services

The present invention relates generally to networking, and more particularly to techniques and products for verifying, qualifying and/or quantifying the performance of networking devices and infrastructure. According to certain aspects, test equipment according to embodiments of the invention performs stress tests using both client and server emulation with very low overhead, providing a virtually unlimited number of servers and/or clients. According to further aspects, tests include the transfer of real files between clients and servers, not just test patterns. According to further aspects, test equipment includes an easy to use Web GUI interface. According to further aspects, tests are performed using TCP protocol, which is the predominant form of network traffic.

Light-weight method and apparatus for testing network devices and infrastructure

A system as described herein offers flexible and high-performance packet processing, and a unique scaling technology that matches the resource requirements with the demands of the individual application and operating environment. According to one aspect, the architecture enables wire-speed execution of any Packet Handling application, at any packet size. According to another aspect, the invention provides a general-purpose computing platform that enables Packet Handling applications to be dynamically developed and put into service, for a configurable set of traffic and with configurable amounts of processing power. According to a further aspect, the dynamically scalable architecture of the invention enables the processing power of the appliance to be freely adjusted to the performance requirements of a given application, without requiring any special configuration changes. According to another aspect, the present invention provides an internal traffic management scheme that ensures fair allocation of system resources from network traffic loads and guarantees proper load distribution among the various application processors. According to another aspect, arbitrary numbers of network interfaces and network processors to scale the amount network processing throughput in accordance with the needs of the device and/or managed network(s).

Scalable architecture for deep-packet processing

A system for transmitting data between circuit boards within a housing. The system includes a switch card placed within a housing having a plurality of slots for holding circuit boards. The switch card includes a five gigabit switching matrix having at least a first data port and a second data port for receiving data packets. A first data bus connects a first circuit board to the first data port of the switching matrix, and a second data bus connects a second circuit board to the second data port of the switching matrix. The first circuit board transmits data to the second circuit board by transmitting to the switching matrix a data packet that is addressed to the second circuit board and that contains the data. The switching matrix receives the data packet from the first circuit board, determines which circuit board the data packet is addressed to, and then transmits the data packet to the second circuit board, thereby creating a virtual connection between the first circuit board and the second circuit board, which are both within the housing.
