An improved hypodermic syringe including finger-holding surfaces that substantially or completely surround the operator finger and include an interior tapered portion to better engage a finger, which facilitates one-handed use by allowing the same hand that holds the syringe to operate the plunger conveniently to accomplish both the distal (injecting) stroke and the proximal (aspirating) stroke.

Syringe control structure and manufacture method

A syringe finger ring and finger ring inserts, that in various embodiments, provides or connects to a syringe that comprises a syringe body capable of having a volume of material therein and a plunger disposed to enter the syringe body and dispense material from the syringe body by movement of plunger, and a novel a finger ring related structures having an open area and connected, by various structures, to the plunger adapted to receive a finger within the finger ring open area, including a spacer of various embodiments inserted within the open area to selectively reduce the open area and provide more controllable engagement of the syringe plunger by the operator finger in distal and proximal strokes.

A fluid dispensing device having a barrel having a lumen for containing a fluid therein and a flexible structure extending from the barrel. A plunger is axially slidable within the lumen to dispense fluid from the barrel, the plunger having a first set of grooves spaced apart a first distance and a second set of grooves spaced apart a second distance. The flexible structure includes a flexible arm extending transversely with respect to the barrel and configured to engage the grooves.

Fluid dispensing device

A dosage device has a hollow barrel and a plunger slidable within the barrel, and a plurality of formations provided on the barrel and plunger and cooperating with one another to produce a sound signal and a pointed impulse, which corresponds to a predetermined dosage of fluid drawn into or displaced from the barrel. At least one of the barrel and plunger formations which are made of flexible material is configured to have a plurality of spaced-apart segments shaped and dimensioned to improve the quality of the sound signal.
