In one aspect, a method performed by a first node in a first communications network is provided. The method includes receiving first trace data for the first communications network, in which the first trace data comprises one or more first attributes. The method further includes replacing the one or more first attributes in the first trace data with corresponding second attributes to provide second trace data, sending the second trace data to a second node for performing network monitoring and receiving, from the second node, first network monitoring information for the first communications network based on the second trace data, in which the first network monitoring information comprises the one or more second attributes. The method further includes replacing at least one of the second attributes in the first network monitoring information with corresponding third attributes, based on the first attributes, to provide second network monitoring information.

Network monitoring

The present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring virtual machines in a data center, to a computer program for executing the method, to a monitoring control unit for monitoring virtual machines in a data center, as well as to a data center comprising the monitoring control unit. The method comprises: receiving (S) a request to monitor a target virtual machine executing on a target computing unit hosted in the data center; identifying (S) a current allocation of one or more virtual machines to one or more computing units hosted in the data center; determining (S) an enhanced allocation of the one or more virtual machines to one or more computing units hosted in the data center, the enhanced allocation reducing a load imposed on the target computing unit compared to the load imposed on the target computing unit under the current allocation; migrating (S) the one or more virtual machines so as to reallocate the one or more virtual machines from the current allocation to the enhanced allocation; and monitoring (S) the target virtual machine upon completion of the migration of the one or more virtual machines.

A technique for computing an image of a virtual view based on a plurality of camera views is presented. One or more cameras provide the plurality of camera views. As to a method aspect of the technique, two or three camera views that at least partially overlap and that at least partially overlap with the virtual view are selected among the plurality of camera views. The image of the virtual view is computed based on objects in the selected camera views using a multilinear relation that relates the selected camera views and the virtual view.
