This invention relates to a method for use in dispensing fluids especially particulate matter on to a surface to be coated, comprising a blade traversing along said surface, whereby the fluid is dispensed in front of said blade on to said surface, whereafter said blade is swept across the dispensed fluid such that it imparts vibrations. The fluid () is fed on to said surface through the bottom outlet of a container () vibrated cooperatively with the blade ().

Method and device for applying fluids

The invention relates to an interchangeable container () for a device used to construct models. Said container forms a substantially delimiting frame, into which a workpiece platform () that acts as a base can be inserted. The interchangeable container () contains a support () onto which the workpiece platform () is introduced.

Interchangeable container

Described herein is a device for pattern building in layers, which has a frame (), a vertically movable and interchangeable workpiece platform (), and a material feeder with a spreader (), whereby the spreader () serves to feed material from a storage bin situated in the workspace above the workpiece platform (), and the workpiece platform () is fixed at least when building a pattern. The workpiece platform () is accordingly loaded into the device from one side and unloaded from the other side of the device.

Device for pattern building in layers

The invention relates to a device for manufacturing models layer by layer. The inventive device comprises a frame (), a vertically adjustable and exchangeable workpiece platform ()m and a device for feeding the material comprising a coating applicator (). Said coating applicator () serves to feed material from a storage container to a process zone above the workpiece platform (), said workpiece platform () being fixed in the device at least during manufacturing of a model. The workpiece platform () is introduced on the one side of the device and extracted on the other side of the device.
