A mobile telescopic crane has a telescopic jib with at least three part-jibs. Each of the part-jibs is constructed from at least two part-jib portions so as to be telescopic in a longitudinal direction. Part-jib portions arranged at a spacing from one another transverse to the longitudinal direction each form a jib portion with at least one flexurally rigid connecting element. Respective adjacent jib portions are mechanically lockable with respect to one another in the longitudinal direction. A construction of this type of the jib means that an increase in the bearing load is easily achieved by increasing the area moment of inertia of the jib.

Mobile telescopic crane

A mobile telescopic crane has a telescopic jib with at least four part-jibs. Each of the part-jibs is constructed from at least two part-jib portions so as to be telescopic in a longitudinal direction. Part-jib portions arranged at a spacing from one another transverse to the longitudinal direction each form a jib portion with at least one flexurally rigid connecting element. A construction of this type of the jib means that an increase in the bearing load is easily achieved by increasing the area moment of inertia of the jib.

A mobile crane includes an under carriage, a superstructure that is rotatably mounted on the superstructure, and a main boom, which is composed of a base body and several telescopic lengths up to a predetermined maximum number, which slide into one another and can be extended from the base body. The main boom is mounted on the superstructure so that it can rotate about a horizontal axis and its inclination can be adjusted by means of a hydraulic tilting cylinder that is hinged on the superstructure and the base body. A maximum permissible weight is predefined for the main boom, as a result of a restriction on the permissible axle load of the mobile crane during road haulage. The crane is also provided with a lifting capacity increasing device, which significantly increases the lifting capacity of the main boom when the telescopic lengths are extended, in relation to the state without the lifting capacity increasing device. The lifting capacity increasing device, as part of the standard basic equipment of the mobile crane, is connected in a fixed manner to the main boom, while maintaining the maximum number of telescopic lengths that are carried.

A crawler undercarriage mechanism includes a plurality of running rollers, and at least one drive sprocket wheel which is provided with chain teeth, and has a running tread and wheel flanges on both sides. An endless chain with individual chain links which are connected releasably to one another by bolts and a plurality of interengaging outer and inner link plates is driven by the sprocket wheel. Each chain link has two guide webs which have a bearing surface, which interacts with the running treads, and a guide surface, which interacts with respective ones of the wheel flanges. The web guides have a cam-like element which connects the two webs and meshes with the chain teeth of the drive sprocket wheel. The drive sprocket wheel has an involute toothing arrangement which meshes with a rectilinear flank of the cam-like element, and top side of the respective guide web has a concavely curved bearing surface, which interacts with the convexly curved running-tread surface of the drive sprocket wheel. The webs also have an inner guide surface interacting with the wheel flanges and an outer guide surface providing for lateral guidance of the running rollers.

A ringlift crane having a ring which can be elevated, forms an annular track and has a plurality of segments which can be connected to one another, there being arranged within said ring an undercarriage which has an upper carriage, which is connected for slewing action to the undercarriage and has a plurality of hoisting winches. Two trusses which are spaced apart parallel to one another, are provided, in two mutually opposite end regions, with in each case one adapter and can be bolted to, and unbolted from, the upper carriage via crossmembers. The adapters are supported with rolling action on the annular track of the ring by rollers arranged in the end region of the adapters. For the purpose of setting different modes of operation of the crane, the trusses can be raised relative to the basic machine and connected in different ways to the crossmembers.
