Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for directional LBT procedure for DRS transmission. One apparatus includes a processor and a transceiver that is operable on unlicensed spectrum. The processor indicates block locations within a Discovery Reference Signal ('DRS') transmission window for a plurality of candidate Synchronization Signal/Physical Broadcast Channel (“SS/PBCH”) blocks. The processor performs a Listen-Before-Talk (“LBT”) procedure for a plurality of DRS transmissions within a DRS transmission window and controls the transceiver to transmit—for a given spatial direction—a SS/PBCH block upon successful LBT for the given spatial direction.

Listen-before-talk for discovery reference signal transmission

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for transmissions based on a type of collision. One method () includes determining () that a first transmission resource corresponding to a first user equipment preempts a second transmission resource corresponding to a second user equipment as a result of a collision between the first transmission re-source and the second transmission resource in a shared resource pool. The method () includes transmitting (), from the second user equipment, a request for resource reselection and activation in response to a type of collision being a periodic collision or a series collision; or transmitting, from the second user equipment, the request for resource reselection in response to the type of collision being a one-time collision.

One apparatus () includes a transceiver () that includes a plurality of UE panels associated with one or more beams. The apparatus () includes a processor () that performs () a LBT procedure for a configured set of UE Tx panels corresponding to an uplink transmission. The processor () declares () LBT failure for the uplink transmission in response to determining that the LBT procedure has failed for all UE Tx panels in the configured set and increments () a LBT failure counter in response to LBT failure for the uplink transmission.

One method includes receiving a plurality of codebook configurations, wherein each codebook configuration of the plurality of codebook configurations comprises information indicating a subset of a total hybrid automatic repeat request process for a hybrid automatic repeat request report. The method includes autonomously selecting a codebook configuration of the plurality of codebook configurations. The method includes transmitting information indicating the selected codebook configuration in configured grant uplink control information, a physical uplink shared channel transmission, or a combination thereof. The method includes generating the hybrid automatic repeat request report for the subset of the total hybrid automatic repeat request process according to the selected codebook configuration.

One apparatus () includes a transceiver () that communicates with a serving cell in a wireless communication network. The apparatus () includes a processor () that detects () an uplink LBT failure in an active BWP of the serving cell and determines () a state of consistent uplink LBT failure for the active BWP in response to detecting a predetermined number of uplink LBT failures. Method and apparatus for a two-step random access procedure

For preempting an uplink resource allocation, one apparatus may include a processor coupled with a memory and configured to cause the apparatus to receive a first uplink grant associated with a first set of uplink resources and receive a second uplink grant associated with a second set of uplink resources, where one or more uplink resources of the second set of uplink resources at least partially overlap with one or more uplink resources of the first set of uplink resources. The processor may be configured to cause the apparatus to prioritize the second uplink grant and deprioritize the first uplink grant in response to the second priority being higher than the first priority. The processor may be configured to cause the apparatus to generate a first transport block (TB) based on the second uplink grant and to transmit the first TB using the second set of uplink resources.

Preempting an allocation of uplink resources

One apparatus is configured to receive an uplink resource allocation for a first TTI on the first serving cell, wherein the first TTI overlaps in time with multiple second TTIs on the second serving cell, where the apparatus is configured with a first serving cell having a first TTI length and a second serving cell having a second TTI length, and where the second TTI length is smaller than the first TTI length. Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for transmitting data using unlicensed spectrum. One apparatus includes a memory comprising instructions executable by a processor to cause the apparatus to receive a single DCI comprising a grant for multiple transmission occasions and to perform a first LBT procedure for transmission of a first TB associated with a first transmission occasion of the grant, where the first LBT procedure results in LBT failure and where the first TB is associated with a first HARQ process. Transmitting a TB after successful LBT procedure

Methods and apparatuses for multi-slot scheduling on unlicensed spectrum are disclosed. A method comprises: receiving a downlink control information (DCI) for scheduling time-contiguous data transmission in multiple slots, wherein the DCI includes an indicator indicating the time domain resource allocation in the multiple slots; determining, based on the indicator, a starting position and an ending position of the scheduled time-contiguous data transmission; and transmitting, in response to a successful listen-before-talk (LBT), data from the determined starting position to the determined ending position.
