A method is provided for forming connections from reinforcing fibers between faces of a wall for a pressure container. The reinforcing fibers are gripped by tufting needles and are pushed through the faces, and loops are formed through which support elements are introduced. A corresponding method produces a pressure container.

A torsion element includes a torsionally soft, flexurally stiff torsion rod, a plurality of piezoceramic fibers wound on the torsion rod, and a plurality of electrodes wound on the torsion rod cross-wise at an angle a with the respect to the plurality of piezoceramic fibers and electrically contacting the piezoceramic fibers. In addition, a torsional actuator including such a torsion element clamped in a fixed bearing and the free end(s) being operatively connected to a gearing for converting the motion.

An aerodynamic profile has an adjustable flap, which has a forward profile area as well as a rearward profile area situated in the downward current, bounded by a pressure-side covering skin as well as a suction-side covering skin. The pressure-side and suction-side covering skins converge in the rearward profile area at a trailing profile edge. In the rearward profile area on the underside of the pressure-side covering skin, a flap is swivellably disposed such that, in the inoperative condition, the flap, pointing in the flow direction, rests against the contour of the pressure-side covering skin and, in the deflected condition, the flap encloses an angle with the pressure-side covering skin. An airtight hinge connection is integrated in the flap so that, on the side of the flap protected from the wind, a turbulence system which improves the flow conditions is formed.

A vehicle cell with side walls that consist of a plurality of wall segments,that are joined together laterally in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle has door openings to make possible an advantageous construction concept that employs simple means, wherein the side wall segments,that are adjacent to one another laterally have, in the vicinity of their facing vertical lateral edges,door partial cutouts,which, when the segments are combined with one another, form a full-width door.

A running gear for a rail vehicle having sprung longitudinal members of plastic, connected to one another by means of a cross-member structure and at their free ends to axle-boxes for rail wheels. In order to obtain optimal stability of the wheelset guidance with reduced loading of the sprung longitudinal members, the longitudinal members each has at least two flexural springs between the ends of which in each case an axle-box is fixed in symmetrical arrangement.
