An apparatus for determining a position of a user device, UE, in a wireless communication system, the wireless communication system comprising one or more of moving transmission reception points, TRPs, wherein the apparatus is configured to: initiate one or more procedures to perform one or more measurements between the UE and the moving TRP, and to obtain one or more measurement results; and receive at least one message from the moving TRP comprising a position information of the moving TRP; wherein the apparatus is capable to estimate the position of the UE using the measurement result and the position of the moving TRP.

Disclosed herein is a device for measuring mechanical stress. The device comprises a magnetostrictive body enclosing a remanent magnetization. The magnetostrictive body comprises first and second end surfaces that are arranged opposite to each other. At least one of the first and second end surfaces is configured to receive a mechanical stress. The magnetostrictive body further comprises a first recess formed at the first end surface towards the second end surface and a second recess formed at the second end surface towards the first end surface. In a projection perpendicular to the first end surface, the first recess overlaps the second recess and extends beyond the second recess. Further disclosed are a method of manufacturing such a device and a method of measuring mechanical stress using such a device.

A strain gauge for measuring force and strain is provided that has reduced susceptibility to interfering electromagnetic fields. The strain gage includes a first insulation layer, which has a top side, a resistance element, which is arranged on the top side of the first insulation layer, a second insulation layer, which is arranged on the resistance element and which is joined to the first insulation layer at least in some sections, and an electrically conductive layer, which is arranged on the second insulation layer.

Some embodiments may include a multi-stage converter comprising: a branch connected between a positive busbar and a negative busbar; and a control device. The branch has two arms connected in series.
