The invention relates to a cutter for self-adhesive linerless endless tape labels, said cutter comprising a transport roller, which is rotatable about an axis of rotation, and a blade unit that comprises a blade carriage, which is linearly travelable in parallel with the axis of rotation of the transport roller, and a cutting blade that is rotationally fixedly held at the blade carriage and that is directed in the direction toward the transport roller, wherein the endless tape labels can be led between the transport roller and the blade unit. The blade unit comprises a blade holder that forms an assembly with the cutting blade, in which assembly the cutting blade projects with a fixed overhang over the blade holder, with the assembly being displaceably fastened to the blade carriage and a spring device, in particular a compression spring, being provided that preloads the assembly into an extended position.

Cutter for self-adhesive linerless endless tape labels

The invention relates to a label printer for printing self-adhesive linerless endless tape labels, said label printer comprising a printhead and a driven print roller, wherein the endless tape labels can be led along a label track between the printhead and the print roller; and a stripping element for stripping off the labels from the print roller, said stripping element being connected downstream of the print roller in a transport direction of the endless tape labels, wherein the print roller is replaceably inserted into a print roller receiver of the label printer and is captively held in the print roller receiver by the stripping element.

Disclosed is a method of cutting off self-adhesive linerless endless tape labels, using a cutter of a label printer, wherein the cutter comprises a transport roller, which is rotatable about an axis of rotation, and a blade unit that is linearly travelable in parallel with the axis of rotation of the transport roller and that has a cutting blade directed in the direction toward the transport roller, where tape labels pass between the transport roller and the blade unit, and are transported further step-wise in a motorized manner, by one label, and, between two consecutive further transport steps, the blade unit is linearly traveled in a motorized manner between a start position and a target position in order to cut off a label, such that the label is completely cut off and is held at the transport roller by the blade unit in the target position of the blade unit.

Method of cutting off labels

A printer for printing on a print medium includes: a receptacle for taking up the print medium into a roll; a print head for printing onto the print medium during a printing process; a print roller for directing the print medium past the print head during the printing process; and a cutting device for separating a printed portion of the print medium. The cutting device includes a stationary blade, a blade that is movable against the stationary blade, and a drive motor for moving the movable blade from a rest position, into a cutting position, and back. The drive motor includes a transmission and at least one drive pin. A rotational movement of the drive motor with the transmission and the at least one drive pin is converted into a linear movement of the moving blade. A movement path of the at least one drive pin is circular or elliptical.

The invention relates to a method and device for transporting and rotating sheet-form print material. A rotation unit carried on a transport unit is moveable along a carriage guide. A gripper on the rotation unit holds the sheet form print material. Mechanical interaction between the rotation unit and the carriage guide causes the gripper to rotate.

Method and device for transporting and rotating stacks of sheet-form print materials

An ink jet printer for making photographic prints includes at least one paper supply for holding a supply of print paper and a sheet paper transport belt arranged to receive sheets of print paper from the at least one paper supply and transport the sheets through the printer. A back printer is located between the paper supply and the paper transport belt for applying back prints to the print paper. A full print width color ink jet print head is located over a first portion of the transport belt for printing an image on a paper sheet. A paper support located under the ink jet print head is provided with ink overspill collection grooves to collect overspilled ink from the ink jet print head. A linear image sensor located in front of the ink jet print head detects the leading edge of the paper sheet being transported under the print head and a controller connected to the paper control the print head to print an image that is slightly wider and shorter than the paper, thereby preventing overspill printing on the leading and trailing edges of the sheet, while allowing slight overspill printing on the sides of the sheet into the overspill collection grooves. A paper dryer is located over a second portion of the vacuum belt transport; the paper dryer includes a source of flowing air for drying the image on the paper. A sheet trimming station is located at the end of the vacuum belt sheet transport for trimming the leading and trailing edges of a sheet after drying.

An apparatus for removing a plate holder from and/or returning it to an exchangeable magazine with at least one plate holder in which plate-shaped objects are deposited one in each. One side of the plate holders provided with a rack engaged by a feed gear actuable by a gearing in two directions of rotation alternately. The feed gear has a tooth-free, raised zone arranged thereon in such a way as to engage with a corresponding tooth-free zone on the rack of the plate holder at the beginning of the withdrawing movement. The feed gear is peripherally provided with a projection which is offset towards the raised zone and pushes the plate holder into a defined final position in the magazine. In this position, the feed gear and the rack of the plate holder are in a disengaged condition. The projection of the feed gear has a right-angled, radially projecting face co-operating with the front face of the plate holder.

Clamping apparatus for imprinting disk-shaped information medium

A device is disclosed for translatorily moving a plate-shaped cup holder, equipped with cups arranged successively in the direction of movement for receiving liquid, to the processing station of an analyzer. The cups are used for mixing viscous body fluid, e.g. blood, with a diluent. Movement of the cup holder and exact positioning of the cups in the processing station are effected in that the cup holder frictionally rests on a driven endless belt, in that an incrementally driven indexing wheel is brought into engagement with the cups, and in that a sensor is arranged for detecting the passage of each cup and determining the indexing position of the indexing wheel in which a cup is located in its processing position.

Device for moving a cup holder within an analyzer

A device for translatorily moving a plate-shaped pipette tray to the processing station of an analyzer for alignment therein. The pipette tray which frictionally rests on a continuous movement device is thereby moved up to a stop member and roughly aligned. A sensor cooperates with an encoding bar formed on the pipette tray and by moving the pipette tray back by a stepper motor exactly aligns the pipettes in their processing station.
