A channel for cooling at least one battery cell is set out. The channel includes a first housing frame and a second housing frame. The first housing frame is connected to the second housing frame and a partially fluid-tight region is formed between the first housing frameand the second housing frame by the shape and material properties of the first housing frame and the second housing frame. The partially fluid-tight region forms the channel and the channel is arranged to allow a coolant to flow through the channel.

A method and system for thermal connection of a heat source of a battery system to a heat sink of the battery system are provided. The method includes implementing of a placing process using a placing device, wherein a distance between an electrically conducting housing surface of the heat source and an electrically conducting heat-transmission surface that is part of the heat sink or is adjacent to it, is reduced by compression of an electrically insulating heat-conducting material. The method also includes implementing of a continuous measurement of capacitance between the housing surface and the heat-transmission surface during the placing process using a measuring device. Additionally, the method includes monitoring of a layer thickness of the heat-conducting material and controlling of the placing device using a control device until a prescribed layer thickness of the heat-conducting material is attained based on the capacitance measurement.

An electrolytic device and to a method for operating an electrolysis of water with at least one electrolysis cell, the electrolysis cell having an anode compartment having an anode and a cathode compartment having a cathode. The anode compartment is separated from the cathode compartment by a proton exchange membrane. The anode compartment is suitable for holding water and oxidising the water on the anode to form a first product including oxygen and the cathode compartment is suitable for holding water and reducing the water on the cathode to a second product including hydrogen. Furthermore, the electrolysis device includes a first gas precipitation device for precipitation of oxygen, the first gas precipitation device for carrying out a natural water circulation being arranged above the electrolysis cell.

The converter arrangement contains at least two series circuits connected in parallel. The external connections of the series circuits form the DC voltage connections of the converter arrangement. Each of the series circuits is connected in parallel and contains in each case at least two submodules connected in series, each of the submodules containing at least two switches and a capacitor. An energy store is to be connected to the capacitor of at least one of the submodules, wherein a filter is connected electrically between the capacitor and the energy store.

The electrolytic cell has at least two bipolar plates, at least one fluid inflow and outflow, as well as at least one laminated core arranged between the at least two bipolar plates. The laminated core is constructed from laminations which are stacked one on top of the other. At least two laminations have recesses which are designed to extend through the entire thickness of the respective lamination. The at least two laminations are arranged one on top of the other in such a way that recesses in adjacent laminations overlap partially, but not completely, as a result of which ducts, which are continuous in the direction of the plane of the lamination, are formed.

A device stores electric energy, in particular for the traction supply of a rail vehicle. The device has a plurality of chargeable storage cells with cell poles, a cooling body that is in thermal contact with the storage cells, and a plurality of bridge members, by way of which two of the plurality of storage cells are in electric contact. Accordingly, at least some of the bridge members contact the storage cells on the sides thereof facing the cooling body. A bridge member contains a connecting web having two recesses and two connecting parts, each being introduced into one of the recesses. Each connecting part is connected to a cell pole of a storage cell to be contacted. The connecting parts are fixed non-rotatably and non-displaceably in a connecting web by a releasable tensioning device. Thus the efficiency and service life of the energy storage device can be increased by reducing the thermal resistance between the storage cells and the cooling body.

Energy storage modules generally include a housing with component parts arranged therein. The component parts are in this case either capacitors, for example double-layer capacitors and/or electrolyte capacitors. According to the invention, a filler is provided in the housing and binds electrolyte liquid occurring in the even of damage or else electrolyte gases. Beds of material with a large specific surface area, such as zeolites or else active carbons, are suitable as fillers. The surfaces are also possibly catalytically coated.
