A control circuit for a controllable electric solenoid valve of a brake system of a motor vehicle is described, in which the actual values of a controlled variable (f(t)), e.g., the vehicle deceleration, a wheel slip, a driving speed, an angle of rotation or the like are returned to a predetermined tolerance band.
