Embodiments of the present application are directed to a method and apparatus for channel access. A method according to an embodiment of the present application may include: receiving control information associated with a channel occupancy (CO) initiated by a base station, determining whether the CO can be shared for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission and an uplink transmission beam associated with the CO in the case of being shared based on the control information, and transmitting the PUSCH transmission with the determined uplink transmission beam in the case that the CO can be shared.

Method and apparatus for channel access

A communication method includes transmitting resource assignment information including bits that indicate activation or deactivation statuses of respective downlink component carriers, which are secondary downlink component carriers added to a primary component carrier which is always activated, each of the downlink component carriers corresponding to one bit included in bits, and the one bit indicating that a corresponding downlink component carrier is to be activated or deactivated. When any one bit of the bits indicates that its corresponding downlink component carrier is to be activated, the bits jointly indicate the activation or deactivation statuses, a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission request and a channel quality information (CQI) reporting request. The method also includes receiving a SRS and a CQI that are transmitted, in response to the SRS transmission request and the CQI reporting request, on an uplink component carrier linked to an activated downlink component carrier(s).

The present application relates to a method and apparatus for sharing channel occupancy time. One embodiment of the subject application provides a method performed by a User Equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising: receiving, from a base station (BS), a first indicator requesting the UE to share a channel occupancy time (COT) for downlink transmission within the COT, wherein the COT is initiated by the UE for transmitting uplink data; determining a first channel access priority class (CAPC) value; initiating the COT by performing a channel access procedure using the first CAPC value; and transmitting, to the BS, at least a part of the uplink data in the COT.

Methods, a remote unit and a base unit are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a method at a remote nit, comprising: receiving, from a base unit, a first signaling for configuring a plurality of subbands for transmitting uplink data; performing a first channel access procedure on each of the plurality of subbands and obtaining a channel occupancy time (COT) on a first set of subbands, wherein the first set of subbands comprises one or more subbands of the plurality of subbands with the first channel access procedures being successful; and transmitting, to the base unit, the uplink data on the first set of subbands within the COT; and transmitting, to the base unit, uplink control information (UCI) associated to the uplink data, wherein the UCI includes a first indicator indicating the first set of subbands.

The present disclosure aims at allowing a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) pattern suitable for a terminal to be selected from among a plurality of DMRS patterns including Legacy DMRS and Reduced DMRS. Disclosed is a terminal including: reception sectionthat receives uplink control information; control sectionthat determines a specific mapping pattern from among a plurality of mapping patterns for an uplink DMRS on the basis of the control information; and DMRS generating sectionthat generates a DMRS according to the specific mapping pattern.

The present disclosure relates to transmitting transport blocks in subframes of a predefined length within a wireless communication system. A downlink control information including a resource grant comprising a predetermined modulation and a predetermined transport block size is received (user equipment is the transmitter) or generated (base station is the transmitter). Then transport block including channel coded data to be transmitted in a subframe with the predetermined modulation and the predetermined transport block size is generated. Sensing is performed in the subframes and based thereon, it is determined whether a partial subframe or a complete subframe is available for transmission of the generated transport block. The invention relates to a user equipment for being scheduled with uplink radio resources. The user equipment receives from a radio base station a first-stage uplink resource scheduling message, indicating uplink radio resources usable by the UE to perform an uplink transmission via an unlicensed cell. The receiver further receives a second-stage uplink resource scheduling message, which is related to the first-stage uplink resource scheduling message. Upon reception of the second-stage uplink resource scheduling message, a processor of the UE determines that an uplink transmission is scheduled in case the first-stage uplink resource scheduling message is valid. The first-stage uplink resource scheduling message is determined valid based on a determination as to whether an uplink transmission has been triggered by another second-stage uplink resource scheduling message within a predetermined time period prior to reception of the second-stage uplink resource scheduling message. The present disclosure relates to a source base station. The source base station comprises a processing circuitry that generates a user equipment packet duplication status. The user equipment packet duplication status includes information on the status of uplink packet duplication performed by a user equipment with the source base station and at least one further base station. The information on the status of uplink packet duplication is per uplink radio bearer, one or more uplink radio bearers being established between the user equipment and the source base station. This invention concerns concepts for signaling resource allocation information to a terminal that indicates to the terminal assigned resources for the terminal. The terminal can receives downlink control information (DCI), which comprises a field for indicating the resource allocation information of the terminal. This resource assignment field within the DCI has a predetermined number of bits. The terminal can determines its assigned resource allocation information from the content of the received DCI, even though the bit size of the resource allocation field in the received DCI is insufficient to represent all allowed resource allocations. According to an embodiment, the received bits that are signaled to the terminal in the DCI represent predetermined bits of the resource allocation information. All remaining one or more bits of the resource allocation information that are not included in the field of the received DCI are set to predetermined value.
