Described is a stable cosmetic or dermatological formulation, in particular a wound healing ointment, which comprises a.) 0.8 to 3 wt.-%, in particular 1.2 to 1.8 wt.-% glyceryl stearates, b.) 0.8 to 3 wt.-%, in particular 1.2 to 1.8 wt.-% glyceryl stearates SE, c.) one or more lipids selected from the group of ceresin, cera microcristallina and paraffinum liquidum, advantageously 8 to 12 wt.-%, in particular 9 to 11 wt.-% ceresin, d.) less than 1 wt.-% water, and e.) less than 0.1 wt.-% of each of cholesterol and lanolin alcohol.

Stable wound healing ointment

Polyamide-5 compounds show an increase of the care and/or efficacy properties of cosmetic or dermatological preparations, such as waterproofness, long-term stability, skin moisture and stickiness. The preparations preferably comprise one or more care agents or active ingredients selected from the group of UV filter substances, anti-wrinkle active ingredients, skin moisturizers and/or lipids.

Polyamide-5 compounds in cosmetic preparations

The present invention is a water-in-oil emulsion having a high content of water and relatively high amounts of skin-moisturizing agents and a cosmetic or dermatological stick including the water-in-oil emulsion. The present invention also includes methods of moisturizing the skin using the water-in-oil emulsion. The water-in-oil emulsion is solid at room temperature and comprises a fatty phase with at least one oil component and at least one wax component, an aqueous phase with a skin-moisturizing agent in addition to water, a water-in-oil emulsifier having the general structure A-B-A', where A&#x2032; and A&#x2032; represent the same or different hydrophobic inorganic groups and B is a hydrophilic group.
