A frame for a shaped charge has a body with a cylindrical configuration, the body having a central passage along an axis thereof and a track extending in a direction parallel to the axis for installing and removing a shaped charge, the track having a snap structure. The frame provides a slide-in snap-in charge receptacle for a shaped charge.

The needle (A) has a single tube which includes a tip (), and a tip-ward needle () extending ring-ward from said tip into the molded body (B). A cartridge syringe system includes a syringe (). The syringe has a tip-ward direction and a ring-ward direction. The syringe () has a syringe body () and an actuator ring (). A shaft () slidably mounts the actuator ring () to the syringe body (), with a harpoon () at a tip-ward end of the shaft (). The syringe body () has a spiral mount external to the syringe body () for removably mounting a sheath () to the syringe body (), on a cooperating internal spiral sheath mount. The syringe body () and the sheath have similar openings. The sheath opening can be rotated to coincide with the syringe body opening, for inserting a needle assembly into the syringe body, or for removing the needle assembly. The sheath opening can be rotated to obstruct the syringe body opening, for retaining the needle assembly in the syringe body.

A method for forming a coated particle having a core particle that is fully coated by a dual-layer coating that includes an inner layer formed of a hydrophilic composition and an outer layer formed of a hydrophobic polymer. The core particles are added to a hydrophilic solution and mixed together. The hydrophobic polymer is then added to form a mixture. The mixture is sonicated to coat the particles and the coated particles are separated and dried to form meta-stable coated particles.

Method of using sonochemical activaction to form meta-stable substances

A scorekeeping device is disclosed for use with a sports court that has a net in order to keep score in a match between players. The scorekeeping device comprises three elongated members, each mutually connected at top ends thereof with a pivot to define a center member and two outer members. A score indicia is fixed to both sides of the center member. The score indicia may indicate the numbers 1 through 7, representing games in a set of tennis, for example. A pair of contrasting score indicators, such as differently-colored spring-biased clips, are selectively fixable with the center member. Preferably, in an extended position the height of the device is three feet, such that the device may be used to adjust or otherwise measure the height of a tennis net, for example.

Mango slicer

A syringe, for injecting anesthetic contained in a medicine vial. The syringe includes a housing having a needle end and a plunger end, connected by a body; to which housing is attached a plunger assembly having a plunger at the plunger end. There is a vial slot in the housing, cooperatively sized for receiving a medicine vial. A needle assembly slot is in the body, at the needle end, for receiving a needle assembly from a side of the body. A seat at the needle end of the housing receives and locates a corresponding seat portion of the needle assembly within the housing. Depressing the plunger housingward impales the vial onto a penetrator of the needle assembly and seats the assembly firmly.
