A polyurea composition containing monomeric diisocyanates in an amount of max. 0.5 wt. % and consisting of a first component containing a primary, aromatic diamine and a second component containing an isocyante-group-containing polyether urethane polymer containing monomeric diisocyantes in an amount of max. 0.5 wt. % and an aliphatic polyisocyanate with an NCO content of 8 to 25 wt. %.

Polyurea composition with a low content in monomeric diisocyanates

A multi-component composition contains a) a polyol component having a1) acrylate polyol and a2) at least one of polyester polyol and polyether polyol, wherein the equivalent ratio of hydroxyl groups of acrylate polyol to hydroxyl groups of the at least one of polyester polyol and polyether polyol is in the range of 0.4 to 3.8, and b) an isocyanate component containing b1) aliphatic polyisocyanate monomer, dimer and/or trimer, and b2) aliphatic polyisocyanate prepolymer, wherein the equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups of aliphatic polyisocyanate monomer, dimer and/or trimer to isocyanate groups of aliphatic polyisocyanate prepolymer is in the range of 0.5 to 2.6. The multi-component composition is suitable for use as a top coat on elastic membranes, in particular roofing membranes, to provide sufficient weathering resistance/protection.

The present invention describes a one-part moisture-curing liquid-applied waterproofing membrane having a polyurethane polymer, a long-chain aldimine and a hardener selected from an oxazolidine and another aldimine. The membrane has a low viscosity at low solvent content and a good shelf life stability and cures fast to form a solid elastic material. The membrane is particularly suitable for roofing applications, possessing high strength, high elongation and good durability under outdoor weathering conditions in a broad temperature range.

The present invention describes a one-part moisture-curing liquid-applied waterproofing membrane including a polyurethane polymer and both an aldimine and an oxazolidine as blocked amine hardeners in a specific ratio range. The membrane has a low odor, a long shelf life stability, a low viscosity at low solvent content, a sufficiently long open time to allow hand application and cures fast to a solid elastic material. The liquid-applied waterproofing membrane can be suitable for roofing applications, possessing high strength, high elongation and good durability under outdoor weathering conditions in a broad temperature range.

Liquid-applied waterproofing membrane comprising oxazolidine and aldimine

A one-part moisture-curing liquid-applied waterproofing membrane as disclosed includes a polyurethane polymer obtained from at least one polyether polyol and at least one diisocyanate, and an aldimine of the formula (I). The membrane has a long shelf life stability with both aromatic and aliphatic isocyanates, a low viscosity at low solvent content, a sufficiently long open time to allow hand application and cures fast to a solid elastic material of high strength and high elongation. The released aldehyde is non-toxic and low flammable and evaporates quickly out of the membrane causing only minimal odor emission. The membrane has high crack-bridging qualities in a broad temperature range and is easily overcoatable without interlayer adhesion problems, which makes it particularly suitable for roofing applications.

The present application is directed at the reaction product of an azide compound having two or more azide groups attached thereto and an alkyne compound having two or more alkyne groups attached thereto, wherein the azide and alkyne groups react in a 1,3-dipolar cyclo addition to form 1,4-disubstituted triazols and wherein the azide or alkyne compound or both include &#x2014;O&#x2014;(C&#x2550;O)&#x2014;NR&#x2014; functional groups.
