A computer implemented method includes obtaining, from one or more image providers, a set of one or more overhead images of a worksite, each overhead image including values indicative of a characteristic at different geographic locations across the worksite; identifying an image performance quality metric for each overhead image based on an image performance quality model; determining if at least one overhead image can be selected, as a selected image, based on the identified image performance quality metrics for the one or more overhead images; selecting, in response to determining that at least one overhead image can be selected, as a selected image, the at least one overhead image and outputting the at least one selected image for use in control of the mobile work machine and generating control signals to control the mobile work machine based, at least, on the at least one selected image.

Systems and methods for worksite imagery selection

A harvester includes a feed system operable at a feed speed and configured to feed a crop towards a blade. The blade is configured to cut the crop into crop billet and is operable at a cutting speed. The harvester further includes an optical sensor configured to generate a signal corresponding to a length of the crop billet and a control system with a processor, a memory, and a human-machine interface. The control system is configured to receive the signal and programmed to adjust one or both of the cutting speed or the feed speed based on the signal.

Systems and methods for determining a pre-charge gas pressure in a gas-charged hydraulic accumulator are disclosed. For example, systems and methods for determining pre-charged gas pressure of a gas-charged hydraulic accumulator included as part of a vehicle are disclosed. Further, the present disclosure provides for determining a pre-charge gas pressure of a gas-charged hydraulic accumulator using a position sensor. The accumulator may form part of a hydraulic system used to move one part of the vehicle relative to another.

An exemplary method generally includes charging hydraulic fluid into or out of a cavity of an accumulator at a controlled flowrate, detecting movement of a machine component from a first position toward a second position, determining an idle time spanning from a start of the charging to detection of the movement of the machine component, and determining a pre-charge of the accumulator based upon the idle time and a flowrate value of the controlled flowrate.
