A breathing apparatus includes a compressed air source with a compressed air source valve, a breathing regulator with a pressure reducer and a demand valve, a breathing mask connected to the demand valve at a first inlet connector, a second air source, a switching mechanism having an actuating member for switching between the compressed air source and the second air source and an exhalation valve, on the breathing mask, movable between a higher internal pressure in a second operating state than in a first operating state. The actuating member is provided on the breathing regulator. The switching mechanism, upon being switching to compressed air breathing, activates the lung-governed demand valve and adjusts the exhalation valve to the second operating state. Upon switching to breathing via the second air source, the lung-governed demand valve is deactivated and the exhalation valve () is adjusted to the first operating state.

Respirator

A gas mask with a connection piece () at a mask body has an adapter (), which is rotatably received in the connection piece (). The gas mask has an angle piece () outside the mask that connects to a drinking tube () for the consumption of food or beverage and has a mouthpiece within the mask to form a drinking device (). A swivel joint connection is provided between the adapter () and angle piece () to accomplish the object.

Gas mask with a drinking device

A gas mask is provided for normal-pressure and overpressure operation with at least one breathing port, an expiration valve with a valve spring, an adjusting element affecting the prestress of the valve spring and a pushing element having a first switching position and a second switching position. The pushing element is designed to act on the adjusting element during a translatory motion from the first switching position into the second switching position. A change in the prestress of the valve spring can be brought about and a switchover from a 'normal pressure' mode into an 'overpressure' mode can thus be carried out.

Gas mask

A fastening apparatus for pressurized-gas vessels is provided on a carrier. The fastening apparatus makes it possible to fasten a pressurized-gas vessel as well as to adapt the fastening apparatus to differently sized pressurized-gas vessels with one manipulative step. The fastening apparatus includes a carrier, a belt, a locking device, fastening points and redirection points for the belt.
