An electrical contact element for a car charging plug connector is disclosed, which electrical contact element has a contact part and a connection part, wherein the connection part can be connected to an electrical conductor of a cable. Cooling liquid can be delivered to the contact element. As a result, the heat produced on the contact element is extracted directly. Therefore higher currents can be transmitted by such a contact element than by known contact elements.

The disclosure relates to a car charging plug-in connector for an electric vehicle, comprising at least one signal contact element and at least two power contact elements. The car charging plug-in connector has a plug-in connector body and a contact carrier. The contact carrier is arranged on the plug-in side of the plug-in connector body and is fastened to the plug-in connector body in a reversible manner. Therefore, the contact carrier can be easily replaced as required, as a result of which the car charging plug-in connector can be used in a particularly cost-effective manner.

An arrangement for connecting light waveguides, in which a casing houses a carrier body in which detachable light waveguides provided with fiber end sleeves, optoelectrical components, and also electrical contacts for a connecting plug are arranged.

For optical waveguides which may be laid with some freedom, for the transmission of optical signals, a detachable optical plug connector constructed to be of dual gender (comprising two identical plug housings) is proposed, whereof ends of the optical waveguides fixed in fiber end sleeves are held by pressure springs at a constant minimum clearance, with possible axial displacements of the optical waveguides being compensated by correspondingly constructed channels within the plug housing.
