A method for secure communication, the method includes (a) receiving, by a first entity executable by a first circuit, challenges of second entities, the second entities are executable by second circuits; (b) generating a pair of asymmetrical keys, the pair includes a new public key and a new private key; (c) generating a response message that includes a representation of the challenges of the second entities and the new public key, wherein the response message is signed by the first entity; (d) sending the response message to the second entities; (e) for each second entity (e.1) determining a unique symmetrical key associated with the second entity; wherein the determining is based on the new private key and a verified public key of the second entity; and (e.2) securely communicating with the second entity using the unique symmetrical key associated with the second entity.

Secure communication between a source to multiple targets

Embodiments include apparatuses, methods, and systems for computer assisted or autonomous driving. An apparatus may include a storage and a safety operation controller disposed in a computer assisted or autonomous driving vehicle. The storage may store a safety operation configuration and a list of safety operations to be performed on one or more device components. The safety operation configuration and the list of safety operations may be provided by a first party. The safety operation configuration may be used to configure selected ones of the list of safety operations by a second party different from the first party to obtain configured safety operations to be performed on the one or more device components. The safety operation controller may perform the configured safety operations on the one or more device components. Other embodiments may also be described and claimed.

Safety operation configuration for computer assisted vehicle

Technologies for controlling timing calibration of a dedicated inter-integrated circuit data bus by a primary microcontroller are disclosed. The primary microcontroller performs a data transfer with a secondary integrated circuit using the dedicated inter-integrated circuit data bus, and determines a duration of the data transfer. If the duration is outside of an acceptable range, the primary microcontroller updates one or more data transfer timing parameters so that the duration of future data transfers are closer to the acceptable range.
