A laundry appliance including a cabinet and a flow control device is provided. The cabinet includes a drum rotatably mounted within the cabinet. The drum defines a chamber for receipt of articles for drying. The flow control device includes a body forming a plurality of inlet openings. The body forms a flowpath from each inlet opening to an outlet opening. The plurality of inlet openings is each configured to receive a fluid. The body is in fluid communication with the chamber through the outlet opening to provide a fluid received through one or more of the plurality of inlet openings. The flow control device includes a valve positioned at the flowpath.

Dryer appliance and dispensing system

A dryer appliance including a drum, a heater assembly, a reservoir, and a controller is provided. The drum defines a chamber for receipt of articles for drying. The heater assembly is in fluid communication with the chamber to flow air thereto. The reservoir is configured to receive a fluid, such as a cleaning solution, a disinfecting solution, or a perfume solution. The reservoir is in selective fluid communication with the chamber to provide the fluid to the chamber. The controller is configured to perform operations that, when executed by the controller, causes the dryer appliance to perform operations. The operations include flowing fluid to the chamber from the reservoir.

The door assembly includes a an appliance door with an outer face opposite and spaced apart from an inner face with the inner and outer faces defining a compartment. The compartment includes a door rotatably mounted to the appliance top provide selective access to the compartment. One or more nozzles are provided for selectively supplying a treatment fluid to the compartment.

Dryer appliances are provided herein including a cabinet having a lower panel and a drum rotatably mounted within the cabinet. The drum defines a chamber for receipt of articles for drying. A drawer is removably mounted to the cabinet and includes a front wall, a rear wall, and sidewalls extended between the front wall and the rear wall. The drawer forms a lint collection bin. A filter assembly is removably positionable within the lint collection bin. The filter assembly abuts the lower panel of the cabinet when the drawer is in a closed position.

The present disclosure is directed to an appliance having at least one chamber accessible via an opening and a flexible cover member for providing selective access to the opening. The flexible cover member includes a plurality of elongated rib members and a flexible skin covering surrounding the plurality of elongated rib members. Exemplary dryer appliances are provided herein including a cabinet having an upper portion and a lower portion. A drum is rotatably mounted in the upper portion of the cabinet. A slideable first drawer housing a filter is mounted in the lower portion of the cabinet. A slideable second drawer is mounted below the drum. One or more fans circulates air through the drum, through the filter of the first drawer, and through the second drawer before the air is exhausted from the dryer appliance, providing drying of articles within both the drum and the second drawer.

A dryer appliance includes an impeller assembly for drawing a fluid from a reservoir assembly and directing the fluid into a drying chamber to treat articles for drying. The impeller assembly includes a spindle that drives the impeller. The spindle is rotated by a roller which itself is rotated through contact with the dryer appliance's rotating drum. The reservoir assembly is filled with a clothing treatment liquid. Negative pressure generated by operation of the impeller assembly draws fluid from the reservoir through a siphon and the fluid is delivered to a fluid distribution element directed into the drying chamber.

An appliance includes at least one chamber accessible via an opening and a cover member for providing selective access to the opening. The cover member includes a flexible portion and a rigid portion. The flexible portion includes a plurality of elongated rib members and a flexible skin covering surrounding the plurality of elongated rib members. A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet that cabinet defines a food storage chamber therein. The refrigerator appliance also includes a shelf having an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface along the vertical direction. A flexible telescopic storage container mounted to the shelf. A top flange of the flexible storage container may be flush with the upper surface of the shelf. The shelf may include an aperture extending through the shelf from the upper surface to the lower surface and the flexible telescopic storage container may be mounted to the shelf through the aperture.

A laundry or dryer appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a drum, a door, and an additive dispensing assembly. The drum may be mounted within the cabinet and define a space for the receipt of clothes. The door may be movably mounted to the cabinet to selectively restrict access to the drum. The additive dispensing assembly may be held on the door and configured to provide an additive mist to the drum. The additive dispensing assembly may include an additive tank, a fluid pump, and a dispenser nozzle. The additive tank may define a tank volume to store an additive therein. The fluid pump may be in fluid communication with the additive tank to motivate a volume of the additive. The dispenser nozzle may be directed toward the drum downstream from the fluid pump to guide the volume of the additive into the space defined by the drum.

A laundry appliance includes an infuser into which users may insert a dissolvable treatment material, such as detergent pods of scented pellets. The diffuser may be removably inserted into a receptacle at least partially contained within the cabinet of the laundry appliance. One or more of a moveable cap or lid may be configured to cover an opening at the top of the receptacle, thereby sealing the receptacle. Water or air may be introduced into the receptacle through a fluid inlet line. The water or air may pass through openings in the infuser and interact with the dissolvable treatment material to produce a treatment mixture of treatment material and water or air. The treatment material may then exit the receptacle through a fluid output line, where it may be delivered to a fluid distribution element extending into the laundering chamber of the laundry appliance. The fluid distribution may then distribute the treatment solution into the chamber and onto the articles of laundry. A controller of the laundry appliance may be configured to allow the introduction of water or air to the infuser at a predetermined time based in part on the length of the laundry cycle and/or the rate at which the dissolvable treatment material dissolves.
