A sensor system detects a presence or concentration of an analyte in a medium. The sensor system contains a sensor having a sensor head with a chamber. The sensor head has a permeable area through which the analyte can pass into the chamber when the sensor head contacts the medium. A cross-linked hydrogel fills the chamber, the hydrogel is configured to undergo a change in volume when contacting the analyte passed into the chamber which leads to a change in pressure in the chamber. A pressure sensor is configured to measure the pressure in the chamber for detecting the presence or concentration of the analyte.

A fixing device for fixing a longitudinally extended element, having a fixing sleeve that surrounds a lumen extended in an axial direction for receiving the longitudinally extended element, the fixing sleeve having an inner side defining the lumen and an outer side facing away from the inner side, the fixing sleeve being embodied for fixing the fixing sleeve on the longitudinally extended element to be subjected to compression in the radial direction of the fixing sleeve by means of the at least one fixing element. A method for coating a medical implant applies at least one coating to at least one surface of the implant by plasma polymerization. The implant has pores sized in the nanometer range. The method stabilizes the pores. The plasma polymerization is conducted in the presence of a coating gas and oxygen. A coating parameter can be selected so that a rough surface of the implant is coated. An implant includes a membrane having pores sized in the nanometer range. A surface of the implant is at least partially coated with a plasma polymer. The interior of the pores is uncoated.

The present invention relates to a biocorrodable implant in which corrosion may be triggered or accelerated after implantation by applying an external stimulus, the implant having a base body which is completely or partially composed of a biocorrodable metallic material, and the base body having a coating with a protective layer which is not biocorrodable.
