The invention relates to a hydraulic assembly of a vehicle brake system with traction control. Hydraulic assemblies include a housing block, which is to be fitted with hydraulic components, and an electronic control unit for activating the components. It is known for a hydraulic connection for a pressure sensor to be provided on a housing block and for the signal of the pressure sensor to be taken into consideration for brake pressure regulation in the control unit. The invention proposes an advantageous arrangement of at least one second hydraulic connection for a second pressure sensor on the housing block in combination with blind bores of the hydraulic connections. The blind bores can be positioned in a variable fashion and formed with different lengths during the production of the housing block. In this way, it is possible for the pressure in different hydraulic partial regions of a vehicle brake system to be sensed in an application-specific manner. The number of such hydraulic connections for pressure sensors has no influence on the external dimensions of the housing block.

A method for pre-filling a low-pressure storage device of a motor vehicle braking system, having a changeover valve, a hydraulic pump, an outlet valve, and a low-pressure storage device situated in a suction line of the hydraulic pump. The low-pressure storage device can be pre-filled in a particularly simple and low-noise manner if the actuation of the foot brake pedal is monitored using a sensor mechanism and, when there is an actuation, the changeover valve is closed in order to lock in the braking pressure acting on the wheel brake, and at least one of the outlet valves is opened in order to release the braking pressure into the low-pressure storage device.

A pump unit for a hydraulic vehicle brake system with traction control has an electric motor driving a radial piston pump. A rotor shaft of the pump unit has a hollow shaft with two standardized, hardened cylindrical pins that are press-fitted into the ends of the hollow shaft. The rotor shaft can be produced simply, economically, and without metal-cutting machining. The hollow shaft has high bending and torsional strength. The rotor shaft has a small diameter at the bearing points, which makes a small bearing diameter and thus a small installation space for the pump unit possible.

A needle bearing for use in a pump has an inner race, embodied as an eccentric sleeve, needles, and an outer race with rims oriented radially inward on both of its face ends, of which one rim is intended to secure the axial position of the needles and the outer race by engagement with the inner race, in that a rim fits over one end face of the inner race. In the pump unit, the needle bearing is disposed with an axial gap from a roller bearing on a shaft of a drive motor. The rim of the outer race engages this gap.

A multi-part filter combination is received in a stepped bore of a fluid-carrying component. A larger-diameter filter part is associated with a larger-diameter bore portion, and a smaller-diameter filter part is associated with a smaller-diameter bore portion. The two filter parts of the filter combination are connected by a connecting part. When the two filter parts are joined in their respective final position in the bore, this connecting part is detachable by means of a die to be introduced into the bore. The filter combination can be used in a valve block serving to receive a magnet valve.

In a method for testing a measuring sensor for the determination of an oxygen concentration in a gas mixture, the measuring sensor supplies a detection voltage furnished by a Nernst measuring cell and corresponding to the oxygen concentration. The detection voltage is evaluated by a circuit arrangement and is picked off between a first electrode exposed to the gas mixture and a second electrode exposed to a reference gas. The measuring sensor is heated to operating temperature. The Nernst measuring cell is exposed to a constant test voltage and a gas mixture with a well-defined oxygen concentration and a measuring current of the Nernst measuring cell is evaluated.

The contact element has at least one connecting conductor, guided in a metal-sheathed line and contacted to at least one flexible connecting line. The contact housing has at least one connecting element that is immovably joined to the at least one connecting line and may be contacted to the at least one connecting conductor. A magnetic valve that switches at high differential pressures and furnishes a large flow cross section. The magnetic valve has an armature, which when current is supplied to a coil is movable toward a pole core counter to the force of a restoring spring. The armature is capable of opening an auxiliary valve of small sealing diameter directly and a main valve of large sealing diameter indirectly. The auxiliary valve and the main valve have a common closing body, which is movable relative to the armature with a limited stroke. The auxiliary valve communicates through a conduit of the closing body with the outflow side of the magnetic valve. In the open position of the magnetic valve, the closing body is held by a stop ring of the armature. The magnetic valve is suitable in particular for slip-controlled hydraulic brake systems of motor vehicles.

A solenoid valve which guarantees the reliable opening of the valve, even when there are great pressure differences. The solenoid valve has an armature which receives a tappet, that can be longitudinally moved in the solenoid valve. A restoring spring, which transports the armature with the tappet into a closed position of the solenoid valve, engages one side of a collar of the tappet and a compression spring, which acts in the opposite direction from this restoring spring and is supported on the armature. The compression spring has a greater initial stress than the restoring spring. Pressure drops can produce a hydraulic closing force on the tappet, which force is directed counter to the magnetic force action. When the solenoid valve is switched over into the open position, the armature therefore executes a partial stroke (h) counter to the action of the compression spring before the armature carries the tappet along with it by means of engaging the collar, as a result of the magnetic force, which increases with the increasing armature stroke (H). The solenoid valve can be employed in a suction line between a master cylinder and a regenerative high pressure pump of a hydraulic brake system for motor vehicles.

The invention relates to a cylindrical filter element, which has a longitudinal slot in order to be able to expand the filter element elastically for the purpose of fitting in a circumferential groove. To prevent any fluid from being able to pass unfiltered through the longitudinal slot, the invention proposes to configure end faces, which delimit the longitudinal slot, such that they run in the secant direction or in the peripheral direction. This has the advantage that the end faces overlap and therefore the longitudinal slot is closed when the filter element is installed.
