A method performed by one or more devices within a subscription television network includes defining a micro-group, where the micro-group includes one or more user accounts associated with the subscription television network. The method further includes obtaining a profile for the micro-group and obtaining advertising corresponding to the profile of the micro-group. The method also includes sending the advertising to a device associated with one of the one or more user accounts.

Targeted advertising for dynamic groups

A method performed by a user device may include determining a geographical position of the device, receiving a description of the geographical position, receiving a selection of one or more individuals to share the geographical position and the description, and saving the geographical position and the description, on another device, to permit access to the geographical position and the description, on the other device, according to the selection of the one or more individuals. Another method performed by a user device may include determining a geographical position of the user device, receiving reminder information that is tied with the geographical position, receiving a selection of a user in which the reminder information and the geographical position pertains, and notifying the user of the reminder information a next time that the user device is at or within a specified distance from the geographical position. A further method performed by a user device may include determining a geographical position of the user device, creating a text message that integrates the geographical position in an attachment that causes a recipient user device to perform an automatic wake-up call of a position-based application for locating the geographical position of the user device, and transmitting the text message that integrates the geographical position to the recipient user device.

Position-based tags, reminders, and messaging

An exemplary method includes a graphics export module 1) generating, based on design data representative of a graphics design, computing code configured to be processed by a target computing device to render graphics within a graphical user interface in accordance with the graphics design, 2) inserting a production tracing tag in the computing code, the production tracing tag configured to be used to access production data associated with production of the computing code, and 3) exporting the computing code including the production tracing tag for access by at least one graphics production subsystem. In certain examples, the method may further include graphics export module generating the production data associated with the production of the computing code and exporting the production data for storage in a data storage repository communicatively coupled to the graphics export module. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Tag-based graphical user interface production systems and methods

An exemplary method includes a graphics export subsystem interfacing with a graphical user interface design subsystem to access data representative of a graphical user interface screen design, detecting a building block placeholder element in the graphical user interface screen design, accessing, from a repository of building block elements, data representative of a building block element associated with the building block placeholder element, and generating, based on the graphical user interface screen design and the building block element, computing code configured to be processed by a target computing device to render a graphical user interface screen in accordance with the graphical user interface screen design and the building block element. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Building block based graphical user interface design and development systems and methods

A system may store program information associated with a group of video programs. The program information may include a program description associated with a particular video program of the group of video programs. The system may receive an instruction to provide the program description, read the program description in response to the received instruction, obtain an advertisement that is related to a content of the particular video program, and present the program description and the advertisement to a video display device, where the advertisement is presented adjacent to the program description on a screen of the video display device.

An exemplary method includes a graphics export subsystem interfacing with a graphical user interface design subsystem to access data representative of a graphical user interface screen design, generating, based on the data representative of the graphical user interface screen design, abstraction data representative of the graphical user interface screen design, and generating, based on the abstraction data, computing code configured to be processed by target computing devices having different computing platforms to render graphical user interface screens in accordance with the graphical user interface screen design. In certain examples, the method may further include exporting the computing code to a distribution subsystem for access by a developer. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Automated graphical user interface design and development systems and methods

An exemplary method includes graphical user interface code executing on a computing device providing a graphical user interface including one or more graphical elements and exposing data associated with the graphical user interface for access and use by a testing subsystem to test the graphical user interface. In certain examples, the exposed data is representative of one or more graphical element type identifiers indicating one or more types of the one or more graphical elements included in the graphical user interface. In certain examples, the exposed data is included in a log of events associated with the graphical user interface. In certain examples, the exposed data is exposed in response to a query from the testing subsystem. Corresponding systems and methods are also disclosed.
