A method of making flexible polyurethane foams mixes a polyol (a hydroxyl group containing compound) with a cesium and/or rubidium fluoride catalyst, and reacts such mixture with at least one isocyanate. The cesium and/or rubidium fluoride may be used as the sole catalyst, replacing the blowing and gelling catalysts, such as amines, and metallic catalysts, such as a tin catalyst. Or, the cesium and/or rubidium fluoride may be used as a catalyst promoter in combination with traditional amine blowing and gelling catalysts and tin catalysts. The resulting flexible polyurethane foams exhibit increased thermal conductivity and lower levels of volatile organic compound emissions.

The thick film paste composition comprises an electrically conductive silver powder, one or more glass frits, a nano-sized additive wherein the nano-sized additive is selected from metallic zinc, zinc alloys or a mixture of metallic zinc and zinc oxide, all dispersed in an organic medium.

An ethylene oligomerization catalyst that oligmerizes ethylene to a series of &#x3b1;-olefins and that has a Schulz-Flory constant of about 0.75 to 0.995 produces a stream of &#x3b1;-olefins. This stream is then added to a vessel containing ethylene and a copolymerization catalyst that copolymerizes ethylene and &#x3b1;-olefins. The resulting branched polyethylene often has good processing properties. The good processing is presumably due to the presence of 'long chain branching'. Such polymers are useful for films and other packaging materials, and for molding resins for molding parts such as industrial, automotive or electrical parts.

The present invention relates to screen-printable quaternary chalcogenide compositions. The present invention also provides a process for creating an essentially pure crystalline layer of the quaternary chalcogenide on a substrate. Disclosed herein are processes for making quaternary chalcogenide wafers. The process comprises heating a mixture of quaternary chalcogenide crystals and flux and then cooling the mixture to form a solidified mixture comprising ingots of quaternary chalcogenide and flux. The process also comprises isolating one or more ingots of quaternary chalcogenide from the solidified mixture and mounting at least one ingot in a polymer binder to form a quaternary chalcogenide-polymer composite. The process also comprises optionally slicing the quaternary chalcogenide-polymer composite to form one or more quaternary chalcogenide-polymer composite wafers. The quaternary chalcogenide wafers are useful for forming solar cells.

The process comprises milling quaternary chalcogenide crystals to form milled particles, and then compressing the milled particles to form a quaternary chalcogenide wafer. The quaternary chalcogenide wafers are useful for forming solar cells.
