A connector assembly may include an umbrella jack to be installed via a hole within a wall of a customer premises. The umbrella jack may include an adapter housing, a cap connected to the adapter housing, and an umbrella support connected to the adapter housing and configured to engage an interior surface of the wall. The connector assembly may include a conduit access port to receive the umbrella jack. The conduit access port may include a first opening to receive the umbrella jack and a second opening to attach to the cap of the umbrella jack. The connector assembly may include an outer tube having a third opening to receive the umbrella jack and the conduit access port and may be configured to be provided in the hole within the wall from an exterior of the wall.

Connector assembly installable from an exterior of a customer premises

A set-top box (STB) receives a router reboot or reset activation code generated by an Operations Support System (OSS) that manages a first network. The STB activates a router reboot or reset function based on the received activation code, and identifies, upon activation of the router reboot or reset function, a model of a router connected to the STB. The STB generates a router reboot or reset command based on the identified model of the router and sends the generated router reboot or reset command to the router to cause the router to perform a reboot or reset process.

Remote home router communication via set-top box

A device may receive first information relating to a wireless local area network to be used to communicate with a first access point and one or more second access points. The first information may identify one or more first configuration parameters associated with the first access point. The device may obtain second information from the first access point based on the first information. The second information may identify one or more second configuration parameters associated with the first access point. The one or more second access points, when configured based on the second information, may permit communication via the wireless local area network. The device may provide, to the one or more second access points via the first access point, information for configuring the one or more second access points based on the second information.

Wireless network configuration for multiple access points

A device detects DNS timeouts indicative of a connectivity problem, determines, after detection of the DNS timeouts, whether a reboot timer has expired prior to troubleshooting the connectivity problem, and reboots the device and collect error logs when the reboot timer has expired. The device determines whether the rebooting of the device has corrected the connectivity problem, and provides a request to perform a reset of the device when the rebooting of the device fails to correct the connectivity problem. The device receives, based on the request, an instruction to perform the reset of the device, resets the device based on the instruction, and determines whether the resetting of the device has corrected the connectivity problem. The device sends the error logs to the log server when either the rebooting of the resetting of the device corrects the connectivity problem.
