A system and related method for precisely monitoring fluid or gas flows, comprising: a flow meter comprising a mechanical metering component; the mechanical metering component comprising a ferrous material; a three-axis magnetic field sensor for sensing fluctuations of a magnetic field arising from movements of the ferrous material, and specifically, for sensing a magnetic field vector of the magnetic field; computer processing for receiving data from the magnetic field sensor and storing magnetic field behavior data representing time behavior of the magnetic field vector in three space dimensions; calibration programming for analyzing and learning a magnetic signature of the meter; programming for storing a unique calibration pattern of the magnetic signature representing baseline behaviors thereof; and comparison programming for comparing behaviors of the magnetic field during operation with the calibrated baseline behaviors and thereby deducing flows which are occurring during operation as a function of time under various conditions.

Apparatus and method for monitoring liquid and gas flow through a flow meter

An exemplary system for an interactive water supply management system for use in residential and commercial properties and a method of installation and use are provided. In the preferred embodiment is a system comprising a water consumption sensor capable of being externally mounted to a water meter, circuitry for the collection of water consumption data, a communication system allowing two way communication with a user and a water main valve shutoff. Remote vibration sensors on water pipes or acceleration sensors on manually articulated water valves provide feedback to the system to allow automatic identification of water consumed by each faucet or appliance. The communication system includes a means of two way communication through the manipulation of the water flow rate by the water shut off valve or by a user.

Interactive water monitoring system

A remote control system for motor groups () for extractor fans (), in particular for industrial and kitchen extractor fans, according to which the motor group itself (), provided dismounted from the extractor fan (), can also be installed inside a protective casing (), to be mounted at the outside of the building, separate and distant from the structure of the extractor fan (); the electrical connection between extractor fan () and motorisation takes place through suitable multi-way connectors (), whereas the electrical connection of the extractor fan () to the mains is carried out inside a suitable connection block (). In such a way, it is possible to connect different interchangeable motor groups () to a kitchen extractor fan (), so as to offer the user the possibility of choosing the desired performance, without each time having to buy a new complete extractor fan ().

An exhaust baffle filter comprising a frame, a plurality of overlapping upper and lower channels extending between the sides of the frame, and at least one trough at the end of the lower channels. Each upper channel has a ceiling and downwardly-extending walls. Each lower channel has a floor and upwardly-extending walls that vertically overlap the upper channel. The trough has a floor at or below the lower channel floors that is sealed to prevent leakage by liquids. Openings in the lower channel floors allow the grease in the lower channels to drain into the trough.

Exhaust baffle filter

A shelf with a platform and a pair of brackets, whereby the platform has an upper panel and a lower panel at right angles. The upper panel has coaxial trunnions that fit into groove in the brackets. The groove has a vertical back wall, a shaped front wall, an opening in the top of the bracket, an upper pocket in the front wall, and a lower trough where the front and back walls meet at the bottom of the groove. The pocket and trough are connected by a 45&deg; slope. The platform has a down position maintained by gravity where the upper panel is horizontal. The trunnion resides in the groove pocket and the lower panel abuts a vertical retaining wall that is parallel to the vertical back wall of groove. The platform has an up position maintained by gravity where the lower panel is horizontal. The trunnion resides in the trough and the upper panel abuts the retaining wall.
