A method and token () for corroborating a document () includes having a registered token () with a token identity. The token () is able to print visual markings. A document identifier is obtained () based on at least the token identity and a timestamp. The document identifier is encoded () into a visual marking (), and the visual marking () is applied to the document (). A copy of the document () is obtained () with or without the visual marking (), and copy is stored in association with the document identifier. The token () includes storage holding a token identity and a printing unit. The token () is configured to receive the visual marking () encoding a document identifier associated with the token identity and to print the received visual marking (). A method also verifies a document () having a corresponding visual marking ().

Method and token for document authentication

A docking station () is for an electronic hand stamp having an inkjet printhead. The docking station () includes a body () having a rest surface () for receiving a substantially flat bottom side of an electronic hand stamp and a border () at least partially framing the rest surface (). The docking station () also includes at least one wiper element () connected to the body () and that projects on one side from the body (). The wiper element () includes a wiper blade () for manually sweeping across an inkjet printhead.

Docking station

The electronic hand stamp () includes an inkjet printhead with nozzles directed toward a bottom side () of the electronic hand stamp (), a control circuit () and a motion detector. The control circuit () is connected to the motion detector and to the inkjet printhead and configured to control the inkjet printhead in response to readings received from the motion detector. The electronic hand stamp () includes at least four indicator LEDs (-) connected to the control circuit (). At least one of the at least four indicator LEDs (-) is arranged on every side perpendicular to the bottom side () of the electronic hand stamp ().

Electronic hand stamp

A method of controlling a hand-operated printer () includes detecting a transverse movement of the hand-operated printer () after finishing a first swath (). The method compares a transverse distance covered by the transverse movement with a predetermined transverse distance () between said first swath () and a second swath (). A transverse-stop signal is emitted when the transverse distance covered by the transverse movement reaches the predetermined transverse distance ().
