System and a method for sound recognition

A method and a system for monitoring operation of at least one loudspeaker in a system comprising a plurality of loudspeakers connected in series on a same amplifier output in at least one loudspeaker chain driven by an amplifier board, the method comprising measuring a current consumed by the amplifier in an operating position of the plurality of loudspeakers, yielding a reference current; stopping the masking system into an idle position; emitting the reference signal, measuring an idle current consumed by the amplifier; and comparing the idle current with the reference current. The system comprises a microprocessor unit and a current measurement module, wherein the current measurement module is configured to measure a current drawn by the amplifiers and feed a resulting signal to the microprocessor unit; and the microprocessor unit generates an output signal to respective output channel.

System and a method for detecting loudspeaker chain failure

A method and a system for measuring amplitude and phase difference between two sinusoidal signals, using an adaptive filter. The method generally comprises measuring a sample of an output signal of a system excited by a sample of a reference signal; using an adaptive filter and the sample of the reference signal to determine a and b coefficients that minimize a prediction error on the sample of the output signal, iteratively, and determining the amplitude and/or phase of the output of the system using the a and b coefficients.

Method and system for measuring amplitude and phase difference between two sinusoidal signals

A control method to automatically adjust the volume of a sound transmitter based on the measurement and the computation of the acoustic statistics of the room where the sound is emitted. The system comprises at least one sensor, a calculator determining statistics of the signal collected by the at least one sensor and a controller using these statistics provided by the calculator to adjust the volume of the transmitter in the room.

Sound volume automatic adjustment method and system

A system and method for generating a masking noise level and spectrum automatically adjusted to obtain a target masking noise spectrum in a room. The system comprises a white noise generator and a mask filter automatically determined according to a correction of an acoustical response of the room and to the target masking noise corrected by an ambient noise.
