Described here are devices, systems, and methods for applying pulsed or modulated electric fields to tissue. In some variations, a device may comprise a first elongate body comprising a lumen, a second elongate body at least partially positioned within the lumen, and an expandable member rolled about the second elongate body. The expandable member may comprise an inner end coupled to the second elongate body, an outer end coupled to the first elongate body, and an electrode array.

Devices, systems, and methods for pulsed electric field treatment of the duodenum

An apparatus includes a stent configured to releasably support a blood pump within an inner lumen of the stent. The stent can include one or more arms configured to bend radially inward and releasably couple to attachment portions on a housing of the blood pump. The attachment portions of the blood pump housing may include one or more slotted openings for accepting the arms extending from the stent. A magnetic member may assist in coupling the arms to the blood pump housing. When decoupling the blood pump from the stent, a position of the blood pump may be adjusted relative to the stent to cause the arms to be released from the attachment portions. Once released, the arms may bend radially outward in alignment with a diameter of the stent.

Methods and systems for deployment, charging and retrieval of intracardiac pumps

A flexible catheter includes an elongated body, and a sensor. The elongated body has proximal and distal end portions and defines a working channel therethrough. The sensor is disposed in the distal end portion of the elongated body and is adapted for detecting the position of a distal end of the elongated body within the anatomy of a patient. The sensor is formed from a wire that forms a first layer of wraps about the distal end portion of the elongated body and that includes first and second leads that form a twisted pair proximal to the first layer of wraps. The twisted pair of the first and second leads extends to the proximal end portion of the elongated body.

A handle for longitudinal movement of a first tubular member over a second tubular member includes a handle body, a nose cone, a locking mechanism, and a retraction control. The nose cone has a sleeve and an outer wall that define a control channel therebetween. The nose cone is moveable over the handle body between extended and retracted positions. The locking mechanism has locked and unlocked positions for selectively fixing the nose cone in the extended and retracted positions. A finger of the retraction control is positioned within the control channel of the nose cone. The retraction control has first and second positions relative to the nose cone for transitioning the locking mechanism between the locked and unlocked position and for moving the nose cone between the extended and retracted positions.

A packaging system for storing a deployable medical device within a sterilized environment includes a sealed container; a tray disposed within the sealed container; a catheter assembly comprising at least one sheath; a deployable medical device engaged with the catheter assembly; and a sterilizing fluid. The tray comprises a first chamber; a second chamber in fluid communication therewith; and at least a third chamber between the first and second chambers, and in fluid communication with at least the first chamber. The deployable medical device is disposed within the tray in a storage configuration, in which the deployable medical device is disposed within the first chamber in a partially deployed state distally from a distal end of the catheter and the catheter assembly spans between the first chamber and the second chamber. The sterilizing fluid contacts at least a part of the deployable medical device in the storage configuration.

According to an aspect, a penile implant includes a first member having a coupling portion and a locking portion and a second member having a coupling portion and a locking portion The coupling portion of the first member is configured to engage the coupling portion of the second member to movably couple the first member to the second member such that the first member is configured to be placed in a first position with respect to the second member and a second position with respect to the second member. The locking portion of the first member is configured to engage the locking portion of the second member help retain the first member in its second position with respect to the second member.

A replacement heart valve assembly where the valve is loaded into the catheter distally, and separately from the stent. The valve has a locking member and the stent has a locking channel. Once in the expanded position, the valve is pulled towards the stent until the locking member is engaged with the locking channel.

A valve for endovascular heart valve repair that provides improved sealing of the valve against the native wall. The valve assembly has a sealing region at a distal end of the valve. The sealing region having a delivery position and a sealing position, wherein in the delivery position, the sealing region has a first length, and in the sealing position, the sealing region has a second length less than the first length and a thickness in the sealing position is greater in the sealing position than in the delivery position.

According to an aspect, an implant includes a sheath defining a lumen, a cable member disposed within the lumen defined by the sheath, and a tensioner. The tensioner is configured to engage the cable to apply tension to the sheath.

A device and method for predictably and controlling the collapsing of a collapsible and expandable stent for subsequent translation through a delivery sheath lumen to an anatomical target such as a heart valve or intravascular location for expansion and implantation. The loading device defines in inner lumen comprising a successively decreasing, from the proximal to the distal direction, inner diameter alternating between two sections of decreasing diameter and two sections of constant diameter until reaching the inner diameter of the delivery sheath. A fluid-filled reservoir is provided at the proximal end of the loading device that is configured to provide moisture or wetting for materials associated with or attached to the stent that require moisture retention. Thus, as the stent is being collapsed with the loading device, at least a portion of the stent may be immersed in the fluid reservoir to preserve the subject material.
