A bearing unit comprising rolling elements, housed in a radially inner mounting seat of a casing. The bearing unit includes a radially outer and stationary coated ring provided with a metal ring and a liner of elastomeric material integral with a radially outer surface of the metal ring, a radially inner ring, which is rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (X), and a row of rolling elements interposed between the coated ring and the radially inner ring. The elastomeric material of the liner is a vulcanized thermoplastic material. The liner is co-molded onto the radially outer surface of the metal ring and may include a cylindrical body and at least two annular protuberances which fit inside corresponding anchoring grooves formed on the surface of the metal ring.

Bearing unit with rolling elements

A bearing unit is disclosed, which includes a new labyrinth sealing device designed for use in the ventilation industry that prevents entry of contaminants therein. The sealing device according to the present disclosure provides a 'contactless' sealing device, i.e. one without contacting elements (for example elastomer lips); and a bearing unit with a low frictional torque, due only to the internal geometry and the efficiency of the lubricant, but certainly without any contribution from the sealing devices. The sealing devices comprises a plurality of shields, and wherein the combination and structural orientation of these shields creates a long, narrow labyrinth L with many changes in direction, and therefore a path for external contaminants with significant head loss. Consequently, any contaminants that make into the bearing unit, passing through the entire labyrinth L, will be negligible.

Bearing unit

A bearing unit with rolling bodies for use in the food and beverage industry, for example. The bearing unit may have a high resistance to wear and to corrosion and may have a radially outer ring, stationary, a radially inner ring, rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (X), and a sealing and protection device mounted on the radially inner ring and on opposite sides of the radially outer ring, both to protect the radially outer ring from the action of external contaminants and to prevent any such external contaminants from getting into a gap between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring. The bearing unit may further have protective layer being arranged in contact with the radially inner ring, and being made of composite polymeric material to isolate and protect the radially inner ring from external contaminants.

Bearing unit with rolling bodies for use in the food and beverage industry

A bearing unit for a marble cutting machine has a radially outer ring, rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (X) and is provided with a radially outer flange portion. Additionally, the bearing unit is provided with a stationary radially inner ring with a through hole in which the ratio between a dimension of an internal diameter (D) of the through hole and a dimension of the axial thickness (T) of the radially inner ring is between about 6.7 and about 11.1. A row of rolling bodies is interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring. A sealing shield is made of composite material and interposed between the radially inner ring and the radially outer ring, rotatable with respect to the rotation axis (X) and steadily anchored to the radially outer ring. The shield is provided with a sensor molded in it.

Reinforced casing for food applications

A housing element for food applications having a casing made of metallic material and a cover made of composite material and having a bottom surface which is closed or provided with a through-hole. The housing element is provided with a system for securing the cover on the casing, comprising at least two steps which are formed on the cover and which engage with interference inside at least two corresponding grooves formed on the casing.

A housing element for applications in the manufacturing industry having a casing and a cover both made of metallic material, wherein the casing is provided with a groove and a flat mounting surface and the cover is provided with an end portion having a frustoconical side wall, an oblique annular bottom wall, and a securing system consisting in inserting the end portion of the cover inside the groove of the casing, wherein an interference (i) between a radially outer end of the end portion of the cover and a radially inner end of the flat mounting surface of the casing assumes values of between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm and an angle (&#x3b4;) defined between the frustoconical side wall of the end portion of the cover and the flat mounting surface of the casing assumes values of between 45&#xb0; and 80&#xb0;. The interference and the angle facilitate the insertion of the end portion of the cover inside the groove of the casing.

Small cross-section bearing unit having a flanged outer ring, an inner ring coaxial with the outer ring and an axis of rotation, a plurality of rolling elements arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring so as to allow the relative rotation thereof about the axis, and a sealing device for preventing the entry of contaminants and, at the same, time, for preventing the leakage of a lubricating grease from the inside of the bearing unit; the sealing device being provided, on each side of the bearing unit, with a shaped sealing screen that is supported rotatably about the axis by the outer ring, and a labyrinth seal extending along a respective complex winding path defined by an associated sealing screen and by the inner ring.

Small cross-section bearing unit

A sealing system for food applications that provides a housing element with two or more bolts and respective holes for clamping. A flanged element is clamped to a frame of a machine, and a rubber seal placed along the base perimeter of the housing element. The seal includes a first portion of the rubber profile placed in the areas distant from the holes and a second portion of the rubber profile adjacent to the holes. The rubber profile of the second portion has a larger cross section than that of the first portion, such that the deformations of the rubber profile are made virtually uniform to prevent the formation of fractures, and therefore of bacteria traps, in the rubber.

A bearing unit for agricultural use, the bearing unit comprising: a rolling bearing, a housing body for the rolling bearing, and a sealing device for preventing the entry into the rolling bearing of contaminants. The sealing device in turn having, at least on one side of the rolling bearing, a first sealing level defined by at least one sliding-contact sealing lip and a second sealing level arranged in series with the first sealing level along an axis of symmetry of the rolling bearing. The sealing device defining a labyrinth for preventing the entry of contaminants into the first sealing level.

Bearing unit for agricultural use

A sealing device for a rolling bearing having two annular screens constrained to the rings of the rolling bearing. Each annular screen having a respective seal made of an elastomer and provided with a respective first and second number of non-contacting annular sealing lips arranged obliquely with respect to an axis of symmetry of the sealing device that extend away from the axis of symmetry and define between them a winding path to hinder any entry of washing liquids or other impurities into the rolling bearing and facilitate at the same time the expulsion of washing liquids or other impurities which may have infiltrated along the path.
