Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may transmit a set of reference signals to a first wireless node; receive information identifying a transmit power capability of the first wireless node based at least in part on transmitting the set of reference signals; and configure one or more transmission parameters for a first link with the first wireless node or a second link with a second wireless node based at least in part on the transmit power capability of the first wireless node. Techniques for selecting an uplink beam

The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication at a wireless device or integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node. In one aspect, the wireless device may determine a frequency synchronization accuracy for the wireless device. The wireless device may also transmit an indication of the determined frequency synchronization accuracy for the wireless device. Additionally, the wireless device may determine an absolute frequency based on a combination of measurements from at least one synchronization source and a frequency of the wireless device, where the frequency synchronization accuracy is based on the absolute frequency.

Methods and apparatus for frequency synchronization communication

Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for beam and cell selection based on power configuration of a wireless node (e.g., an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node). In some cases, the node monitors synchronization signal block (SSB) transmissions from one or more network entities, and selects a beam or cell based on the monitoring and one or more metrics designed to limit potential interference caused by uplink transmissions from the first node.

Beam and cell selection based on power configuration

The present disclosure provides techniques for addressing switching times of Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) child nodes. For example, a parent IAB node may determine a switching time for the child IAB node to switch from transmitting on a backhaul/uplink to a parent node (with transmit power control) to transmitting on an access/downlink to a user equipment (UE) or other child IAB node. The parent IAB node may then configure the IAB child node according to the determined switching time (e.g., by scheduling the IAB child node accordingly or setting one or more timing advance parameters).

Techniques for addressing IAB node switching time

Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for addressing scenarios where the minimum transmit power supported by a wireless node (e.g., an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node) is above a minimum value specified by a standard. In some cases, the node may signal information regarding its power configuration so a network entity of the may take it into account (e.g., when allocating or scheduling resources). The power configuration may include an indication of the minimum transmit power supported by the node and/or an indication of a guard band that may help the IAB control adjacent channel leakage.

RACH configuration for different power classes

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for interference mitigation. An exemplary method performed by a base station generally includes determining, based on a location of another base station and information regarding the other base station, that the other base station is likely to experience interference while receiving an uplink transmission due to a downlink transmission by the base station and forming a null in a beam of the downlink transmission in a direction matching the location of the other base station.

Techniques to reduce base station to base station interference in semi-synchronous time division duplex operations

In an aspect, the present disclosure includes a method, apparatus, and computer readable medium for wireless communications for determining, by a user equipment (UE), a first time period for an evaluation procedure during communications with a network entity; performing, by the UE, a first set of measurements of a quality of a first set of discovery reference signals during the first time period; and determining, by the UE, whether to initiate a set of actions associated with the evaluation procedure based on the first set of measurements of the quality of the first set of discovery reference signals.

Evaluation period in NR-U networks

Wireless communications systems and methods related to reducing user equipment (UE)-to-UE cross-link interference are provided. A user equipment (UE) may receive from a base station (BS), a time-division-duplexing (TDD) pattern. The UE may establish a guard band on uplink resources from resources specified in the TDD pattern. Alternatively, the UE may reduce power to uplink resources from the resources specified in the TDD pattern. The UE transmits the resources using a carrier and as specified in the TDD pattern.

Interference mitigation scheme for asynchronous time division duplex

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to enable a mobile access node to enter a new power state based on detection of a second access node. The second access node may be detected by the mobile access node or a central unit (CU). The mobile access node or the CU may determine for the mobile access node to enter a new power state and may notify the other of the determination. The mobile access node may enter a lower power state if the second access node is within a defined proximity or if one or more thresholds are exceeded. The mobile access node may enter a higher power state if no other access nodes are within the defined proximity or if the one or more thresholds are not exceeded. Configuration parameters for a power state change procedure may be configured by control signaling from a CU.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may determine an emissions mask (e.g., an in-band emission (IBE) mask) for a user equipment (UE) which may be determined based on the total number of UEs scheduled by the base station for uplink transmissions during a same transmission time interval (TTI). The base station may transmit downlink control information (DCI) to the UE indicating the emissions mask. The base station may additionally transmit a grant to the UE allocating resources for the UE based on the UE's position relative to other UEs served by the base station. The UE may receive the DCI and may map the emissions mask to a maximum power reduction (MPR). Based on the MPR, the UE may determine a transmit power and may transmit an uplink transmission to the base station according to the transmission power and the DCI.

In-band emission interference management

Methods, systems, and devices for beamforming in environments with angular constraints are described. A wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) or base station may configure beam parameters based on a sensitivity level of a neighboring wireless device (e.g., a satellite). The configuration of beam parameters may be based on an interference power profile (e.g., threshold(s) indicated by an interference power profile). The interference power profile may specify a mask, which may indicate allowed or unintended directions for transmission or a transmission power mask. A beamformed transmission may be in accordance with the configured beam parameters, which may result in a reduced transmission power in one or more directions, compliance with total power limits, peak power limits, or energy radiated over a period of time, or any combination thereof.
