The present invention relates to imidazole derivatives, wherein A, R, R, and Rare as defined in the specification, pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and to their use in therapy. 

Imidazoles as histone demethylase inhibitors

The present invention relates to imidazole derivatives of Formula (I), wherein A, R, R, and Rare as defined in the specification, pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and to their use in therapy. 

The present application relates to thienopyrrole derivatives, compounds of Formulas (I) and (Ia), wherein R, R, Rand Rare as defined in the specification, pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and to their use in therapy. The compounds of the application can be useful for inhibiting KDM1 and the prevention and/or treatment of cancer, infectious disease, or a disease characterized by aberration of cellular energy metabolism, e.g., obesity.

Compounds of formula (I), wherein Z=cyclopentyl. cyclopropylmethyl, &#x2014;CH; R'&#x2550;&#x2014;CH, CHF, X=formula (II) (III) (IV) (V) Y=&#x2014;CO; &#x2014;C&#x2550;O(CH), &#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;CH, &#x2014;CH&#x2014;C&#x2550;O, &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH&#x2014;C&#x2550;O; &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;CH, &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OCOR)&#x2014;CHNR&#x2550; &#x2014;N(CH&#x2014;CHOH), formula (VI) (VII) (VIII) (IX) (X) (XI) R=optionally substituted C-Calkyl, optionally substituted aryl; optionally substituted aralkyl, preferably C-Calkyl, more preferably CH; and enantiomers, diastereoisomers and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; these compounds have a PDE4D inhibiting activity and can be used as a medicament for treating dementia, in particular Alzheimer disease, and for improving memory.
