An ink delivery system for at least one printing module comprising a closed-loop ink recirculation circuit and a vacuum discharge circuit, which is configured to produce a vacuum condition in the at least one printing module. The present invention relates to a thermal inkjet print head, comprising a fluid feed channel for delivering fluid, fluid chambers arranged near the fluid feed channel, resistors for actuating the fluid in the chambers, arranged in a staggered pattern with respect to vertical printing lines. At least a part of the fluid feed channel opposite of a rear side of the print head extends substantially orthogonal to the chip surface, and the fluid channel having staggered edges follows the staggered pattern of the resistors so that a fluid path length between a resistor edge and a corresponding staggered edge is substantially similar for each resistor.

The present invention relates to a method of addressing the nozzles of a printhead; a group of nozzles of a print column of the printhead are staggered and are arranged according to a spatial order, e.g. NNNNNNNNNNNN, with respect to the transversal translation direction of the printhead; the nozzle of the group are divided in a number, e.g. 2 or 3 or 4 or 5, of sequential subgroups corresponding to different addressing spaces; an addressing scheme is obtained by cyclically and progressively selecting addresses from these addressing spaces; in this way, it is possible to print with a single pass at different resolutions, higher than the standard resolution of the printhead, by reducing the transversal translation speed of the printhead but maintaining the same addressing timing; the method according to the present invention leaves the possibility of printing at standard resolution and at lower resolutions.

The detecting system comprises a detecting circuit () made up of a transistor (T) in current generator configuration, connected in series with a resistance (Rs) and a capacitor () of known capacitance (Cx), the resistance Rs representing the resistivity of the liquid existing between two electrodes () plunged into the liquid. Thanks to the presence of the capacitor (), it is possible to detect the liquid level in relation to the integral of the current that charges the capacitor (), resistance Rs being such as to condition the charge time (Tp) of the capacitor (). Accordingly, the variations in the voltage drop (Vp) on Rs caused by successive charges of the capacitor () with a current of time Tp represent corresponding values of the level of the liquid.
