An insulated glazing unit may include: a frame including a base, a cross member above the base, and two upright members for connection between the cross member and base; at least two at least partially transparent panes applied to the frame, wherein the at least two partially transparent panes and frame define a closed volume; a light ray shielding device within the closed volume; support means mechanically connected to the cross member and operably associated with the shielding device; wherein the shielding device includes slats and a bottom member, wherein the slats are connected to each other and the bottom member, wherein the shielding device is configured to alternate between a raised position, in which the slats and bottom member are compacted, and a deployed position, in which the bottom member is proximate to the base; stationary guide means at the base; and moving guide means on the bottom member.

Insulated glazing units

An insulating glazing system may include: at least two glass panes and a spacer element, wherein the at least two glass panes and the spacer element define a closed volume; a light ray shielding device within the closed volume, defining: transparent areas allowing passage of incident light rays with a given angle of incidence, whereas light rays having other angles of incidence are unable to pass through the transparent areas; and non-transparent areas configured to block the passage of the incident light rays, the non-transparent areas defining first and second surfaces; and a support means connected to the spacer element and operably associated with the shielding device. The shielding device may include a layer having retroreflective properties. The layer may at least partially cover one or both of the first and second surfaces of at least one of the areas of the non-transparent areas of the shielding device.

Double-glazing systems with retroreflectivity properties

A box for a system for opening and closing a communication route between two separate areas, the system including separation means suitable for allowing and preventing, respectively, at least partially, crossing of the route by light, may include: a box body configured to accommodate a movement unit of the system; and support elements for the movement unit. The box body may have a major extension direction. The box body may be defined by support and closing profiles, both extending along the direction. The support profile may define at least one upper, lower, and connecting wall. The closing profile may define a closing wall. The closing profile may be removably fixable to the support profile for closing the box body. When the closing profile is fixed to the support profile, a distance between the closing wall and the connecting wall may be less than or equal to 20 millimeters.

The present disclosure concerns a system for driving a Venetian blind comprising a blind assembly which comprises a Venetian blind, an electric motor for actuating the movement of said Venetian blind and first electronic means configured to generate a drive signal for driving said electric motor; a control unit having drive means for driving the movement of said Venetian blind, a power source for generating a current signal to power said electric motor and second electronic means that are in signal communication with said drive means and with said power source for controlling said electric motor; a two-wire power line disposed between said control unit and said blind assembly to power said electric motor with said current signal and the first electronic means are in signal communication with said second electronic means via said two-wire power line. The system is characterized in that the first electronic means are configured to generate a first data signal identifying the state of said electric motor and to detect a current signal in said two-wire power line identifying the current value absorbed by said electric motor; said second electronic means are configured to receive said first data signal and to detect said current signal, said second electronic means are configured to condition said first data signal and said current signal to thereby generate a second data signal;

Systems for controlling venetian blinds

A spacer profile for an insulating glazing unit for maintaining a space between glazing panes includes a profile body formed from a first heat insulating material that has, viewed in a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction, outer side walls extending in a height direction and that has a distance in a transverse direction smaller than a first width, each side wall having an inner protrusion protruding towards the opposite side wall into a recess which is open to the inner side, and a diffusion barrier film made from a second material and firmly bonded with the profile body and, viewed in the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, extending over the profile body on the outer side of the spacer profile and continuous thereto in the height direction on the outside of the side walls and/or in the same to a second height and into the protrusions.

Spacer profile for a spacer frame for an insulating glass unit with interspace elements and insulating glass unit

Inside a glass-enclosed chamber is a Venetian blind connected to internal elements for operating it, the elements being workable from outside to raise, lower and incline the slats. The raw slats of the blind are obtained by moulding a rolled strip of aluminum alloy hardened by magnesium. The strip has not been lapped in order to maintain a degree of roughness on both surfaces, ready to receive a reflecting layer. Reflective stratification includes a layer of pure aluminum adherent to the body of the slat that serves to fix a reflective type of interferential dielectric multilayer. Average thickness of the layer of sputtered aluminum depends on the diffusivity of reflected radiation required in relation to the maximum height of the peaks of surface roughness on the body of the slats. Useful multilayers increase reflectance to levels averaging over 85% on a wide interval of wavelengths from near infrared to ultraviolet.
