A positional indicator system that includes a mounting bracket having a slot that extends along a linear slot axis. A drum may be rotably coupled to the mounting bracket so as to rotate about an axis that is offset from, and non-intersecting with, the slot axis. A pin body of a pin assembly may extend into a chamber of an electrical housing so as to be coupled to a displaceable electrical component, and thereby be linearly displaced along the slot as the displaceable electrical component is linearly displaced within the chamber. The pin assembly may be coupled to a biasing element that is coupled to the drum. A plurality of indicia may be positioned or mounted on the biasing element, such as via a windable indicator plate, and may provide a visual indication through a window of the electrical housing of the relative position of the displaceable electrical component.

A switchgear enclosure has a case with a front face that surrounds an opening in the case. A flange extends from the front face and has a first surface adjacent to the opening and a second, opposing surface. At least the second surface is disposed transversely with respect to the front face. A door has a door bracket. A gasket is coupled the door bracket and forms an endless loop sized larger than a size of the opening in the case. The gasket has a seal portion. When the door is closed, the seal portion compresses against the second surface of the flange to provide a seal around the opening, and in the event of an arc in the case causing pressure to be exerted on the door, the gasket moves with the door, with the seal portion sliding along the second surface, maintaining the seal around the opening.

A door for an arc-resistant compartment includes an opening there-through. Flap structure includes a flap member coupled to the door and movable between an opened position permitting air to pass through the opening, and a closed position covering the opening. Spring structure is engaged with the flap member to bias the flap member to the closed position. Handle structure is coupled to the flap member and extends through the door for moving the flap member to the opened position against the bias of the spring structure. Retaining structure provides a retaining force on the flap member to retain the flap member in the open position, against the bias of the spring structure. During an arcing event in the compartment, pressure within the compartment together with the bias of the spring structure overcomes the retaining force to automatically move the flap member to the closed position.

Interlock structure for a circuit breaker is constructed and arranged such that 1) when a control plug is disconnected from a socket, a portion of a linkage structure engages a racking linkage, causing a portion of the racking linkage to engage a racking screw, preventing the racking screw from rotating and thus preventing racking of the circuit breaker, and 2) when the control plug is connected with the socket, the linkage structure is actuated thereby moving the portion of the linkage structure to disengage from the racking linkage such that the portion of the racking linkage disengages from the racking screw, permitting the racking screw to rotate thereby permitting the circuit breaker to be racked to a connected position, where the primary contacts are connected to the main bus.
