A system and method for automatically generating content for a user based on a context includes conducting a search of data associated with the user to generate search results associated with the user, applying first models to the first search results to infer characteristics and patterns associated with the user and to generate a first set of content based on the inferred characteristics and patterns, and generating a first pseudo-document that includes a first set of pattern content, based on the first set of content generated by the one or more first models. Additionally, second models are applied to data associated with the context to infer characteristics and patterns associated with the context and to generate a second set of content based on the inferred characteristics and patterns of the context. A second pseudo-document is generated based on the second set of content. A prompt is created by integrating the first pseudo-document and the second pseudo-document and transmitted to a language model to cause the language model to generate content for the user that is customized to both the user and the context.

System and method of providing context-aware authoring assistance

Technology is disclosed for controlling the processing and presentation of user-connection data on computing devices to provide improved electronic communications applications and user computing experiences. User-connection data may be programmatically determined or inferred from the user data for a plurality of users. The user-connection data may be assembled into a graph data structure, which may be further processed to determine optimal paths connecting users and to derive information insights. Aspects of information insights may be presented to a user and/or consumed by a computing application or service to provide an improved user computing experience.

Technology is disclosed for selecting at least one icebreaker people highlight, with respect to a person of interest in a target group, to be shown on one or more user devices. The target group is determined, along with a set of feature values in common among the target group. Similarly, a reference group related to the target group is determined, along with a set of feature values for the reference group. For each feature value in the set of common target group feature values, a frequency of the feature value with respect to the determined reference group is determined. Based on the determined frequency, at least one icebreaker people highlight from the determined set of feature values in common among the target group is caused to be presented on the user device.

A search query relating to a search for people and including one or more search terms is received. A search graph for the search is created from a previously created graph which is a directional graph in which people are represented by nodes and content is represented by nodes or edges. The search graph is generated by filtering out nodes or edges that represent content that is determined not to be relevant to the search terms in the search query; and, for the remaining content that is determined to be relevant to the search terms in the search query, adding to the graph a measure of the relevance of the content to the search terms. The search results are generated by operating on the search graph to identify people in the search graph who are sources of content that is relevant to the search terms.

A computer-implemented method for extended status indicators can include receiving a signal indicating a first computing device associated with a first user is proximate to a beacon at a particular location; determining a current status of the first user associated with the first computing device; generating an updated status of the first user based on the signal indicating the first computing device is proximate the beacon and the current status of the first user; and directing the updated status to requesting client devices for display as a status indicator of the first user.

Technology is disclosed for determining a social proximity of attendees of a meeting within an electronic schedule. Information within relational profiles for the attendees may be utilized to identify interaction patterns (e.g., how often attendees communicate, what mode of communication is used) and commonalities (e.g., common social media connections, common domains). This information may be utilized to determine a set of attendee proximity scores for groups of attendees, such as a pair of attendees. Based on the attendee proximity scores determined for the meeting, an overall meeting proximity score may be determined for the meeting. The meeting proximity score may be utilized to generate a proximity indicator for the meeting event that will form at least part of the graphic interface component for the meeting event. The meeting proximity score may alternatively or additionally be used to create meetings by determining meeting details and meeting conflict resolution.

Discrepancies between a current profile picture and a current visual appearance of the user is detected utilizing image data captured during a video teleconference, and potential updates to the user's profile picture are automatically generated and presented to the user for their consideration and selection. Additionally, for greater efficiency, an automated profile picture update process is triggerable by predetermined conditions or events, including hardware conditions, lighting or other environmental conditions, or events detected through other sensors, including concurrent audio analysis of the user during the video teleconference. A set of images, whether still pictures or live pictures, are obtained from the video information. Such an image set is initially filtered to create a smaller subset, which is then graphically modified. An image is selected and compared to an existing user profile image, with the comparison informing the generation of a user notification for choosing a new profile picture.

In a method for determining contextual summary information across documents retrieved in response to a user query applied to a collection of documents the documents matching the query are identified. A query-dependent subsection of each of the matching documents is selected. Document properties associated with the document subsection are selected and associated with localized structures within the document. Relationships between localized document properties and user queries are determined and used to compute contextual summary information, whereby localized document properties are profiled across the retrieved documents in a contextual manner. The method allows a user query to select localized structures within a matching document and is generally applicable in information retrieval and the analysis of retrieved information.
