The present invention provides an improved herbicidal composition including (a) an effective amount of an herbicidal cyclohexandione oxime compound or agriculturally acceptable salt thereof; (b) one or more esters of a fatty acid; (c) a salt of dodecylbenzensulfonic acid; (d) at least one nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene plant oils and polyoxyethylene sorbitan esters; and (e) optionally another herbicide.

Herbicidal compositions

A dehydration step provides a good storage stability to clethodium formulation. A herbicidal composition comprising clethodim as an active ingredient, wherein the content of water in the herbicidal composition is less than approximately 0.20% by weight provides a good storage stability of the clethodim in the composition.

The present invention provides an improved herbicidal composition including (a) an effective amount of an herbicidal cyclohexanedione oxime compound or agriculturally acceptable salt thereof; (b) one or more esters of a fatty acid; (c) a salt of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid; (d) at least one nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene plant oils and polyoxyethylene sorbitan esters; and (e) optionally an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent. The present invention also provides a method for controlling the growth of vegetation, by applying to the vegetation the composition of the present invention.
