A digital panning system for a work machine with an articulating joint assembly includes the fore portion of the work machine, the rear portion of the work machine, a first image capturing device, a second image capturing device, a first display device, a second display device, and a controller. The controller has a processor with a digital mapping and filtering analyzer coupled to the devices wherein the processor is configured to receive a first and second set of display pixels; selectively digitally map and filter a first and second target region from the first and second set of display pixels to display on a first and second viewing frame. The first target region and second target region are selected in response to a received joint signal. The joint signal is indicative of the articulation angle of the fore portion relative to the rear portion at the joint assembly.

Digital panning system and method for a work machine

Methods and apparatus are provided for automatically changing an obstacle detection range setting of an obstacle detection system based at least in part on a determination of a change in work state of a self-propelled vehicle. The change in work state may be a change from a transport state in which the vehicle is moving across a ground surface, to a stationary operating state. Upon detecting a change to a stationary operating state the obstacle detection range may be automatically changed to a shorter range. Upon detecting a change to a transport state the obstacle detection range may be automatically changed to a longer range.

A work cycle detection and control system includes an angle detector that detects an angular position of an implement, operably coupled to a mobile machine, relative to a base of the mobile machine. The system also includes a range detector that detects a degree range of rotation, about the base, in which the angular position of the implement is located. Work cycle logic identifies a particular work cycle, from a plurality of different work cycles, that the mobile machine is performing, based on the degree range. An action signal generator generates an action signal, based on the particular work cycle.

A work vehicle including a touch screen display, a work implement movably coupled to a frame, and a control module having a processor and a memory wherein the processor is configured to execute stored program instructions to display a graphical user interface having selectable application icons on one or more overlays. A machine output detection and control system includes machine metric logic that detects a plurality of quantity metrics, each quantity metric corresponding to sensor information associated with at least one mobile machine in a plurality of different mobile machines. The system also includes normalization logic that aggregates the plurality of different quantity metrics to generate, for each mobile machine, a normalized production unit that is normalized across the plurality of different mobile machines. Dependency logic correlates the normalized production unit, for each mobile machine, to a machine dependency that identifies an order in which the plurality of different mobile machines operate at a jobsite. Further, action signal logic generates an action signal, based on the correlation.
