A rotor blade of a wind turbine is provided, the rotor blade including a lift modifying device having at least one fluid jet module and at least one compressed fluid source, wherein the at least one fluid jet module includes multiple fluid jets, which are fluidically connected to the at least one compressed fluid source, whereby the at least one fluid jet module is mounted as an add-on onto an outer surface of the suction side or the pressure side of the rotor blade. Also provided is a method for installing this rotor blade, whereby a rotor blade is provided and the at least one fluid jet module is mounted as an add-on onto the outer surface of the suction side or the pressure side of the rotor blade.

A lift modifying device for a rotor blade of a wind turbine is provided, the lifting modifying device including at least one fluid jet module and at least one compressed fluid source, wherein the at least one fluid jet module includes multiple fluid jets, which are fluidically connected to the at least one compressed fluid source, the at least one fluid jet module is configured to be arranged at a suction side or a pressure side of an airfoil of the rotor blade, and the at least one fluid jet module is configured to generate a fluid curtain separating an air flow on the suction side or the pressure side of the airfoil, when the rotor blade is provided with the lift modifying device on its suction side or pressure side and the at least one compressed fluid source supplies compressed fluid to the at least one fluid jet module.

A rotor blade for a wind turbine is provided. The rotor blade includes an aerodynamic device for influencing the airflow flowing from the leading-edge section of the rotor blade to the trailing edge section of the rotor blade. Trailing edge assembly

A rotor blade of a wind turbine, wherein the rotor blade includes a lift modifying device, is provided. The lift modifying device is a part of the trailing edge section of the rotor blade. The lift modifying device is configured such that, at a predetermined loading of the trailing edge section, an air channel opens up a flow path from the pressure side to the suction side and vice versa in the trailing edge section. As a consequence, airflow flowing from the leading edge section of the rotor blade to the trailing edge section is at least partly deflected by the open air channel, which results in a modification of the lift of the rotor blade. A method to modify the lift of a rotor blade of a wind turbine is also provided.
