An adapter for coupling each of a razor handle and a razor cartridge together is provided. The adapter includes a cartridge engaging portion and a handle engaging portion. The handle engaging portion comprises at least one wall that defines a receptacle for receiving a razor handle and at least one handle protrusion extending from the at least one wall and configured to engage a central recess of a razor handle. The cartridge engaging portion is coupled with the handle engaging portion. The cartridge engaging portion comprises a stem that defines a first recess and a second recess for selectively engaging a first cartridge protrusion and a second cartridge protrusion and a tongue member slidably coupled with the stem and configured to contact a cartridge.

In one aspect, the invention features, in general, a method of assembling a shaving razor cartridge by providing a housing having a primary guard and a secondary cap. A first blade having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. A second blade having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. A bridge member having a pair of spaced apart legs is mounted to the housing immediately between the first blade and the second blade. The first blade, the second blade and the bridge member are secured to the housing with at least one clip.

Method of assembling a shaving razor cartridge

A customizable license plate holder for a vehicle license plate is provided, which includes a holder frame that is securable to a vehicle and configured to register with a vehicle license plate. The holder frame has a front frame plate. At least one plate window is provided in the front frame plate. The at least one plate window is configured to register with license plate indicia on the vehicle license plate. At least one decorative element is affixed to the front frame plate. The decorative elements are preferably detachable from the front frame plate.

A bridge member having a primary cap surface and a secondary guard surface is positioned between the primary guard and the secondary cap. A first blade has a cutting edge. A second blade having a cutting edge extending in the same direction as the cutting edge of the first blade is mounted to the housing between the secondary guard surface and the secondary cap. A width of the bridge member is greater than 50% of an interblade span between the cutting edge of the first blade and the cutting edge of the second blade and the interblade span is greater than 3 mm.

In one aspect, the invention features, in general, a shaving razor cartridge with a housing having a primary guard at a front of the housing, a secondary cap at a rear of the housing and at least one spring member positioned between the primary guard and the secondary cap. A bridge member is positioned between the primary guard and the secondary cap. The bridge member has a primary cap surface and a secondary guard surface. A first blade having a cutting edge is mounted to at least one of the spring members between the primary guard and the primary cap surface. A second blade having a cutting edge is mounted to at least one of the spring members between the secondary guard surface and the secondary cap. The bridge member is mounted on a plurality of the spring members.

Shaving razor cartridge and method of assembling

A shaving razor with a handle and a housing, the housing dimensioned to receive at least one blade. The housing has a pair of spaced apart opposing parallel walls each defining a fully enclosed opening that extends completely through the respective walls. The handle includes a pair of semi-circular pin members that are disposed in the openings to mount the housing to the handle while allowing rinse water to travel through the openings to access the at least one blade.

The substrate portion has first and second walls forming a channel extending along a long axis of the substrate portion. An insert member is formed separate from the substrate portion and disposed within the channel. A grip portion of a second material is formed on the substrate portion. The second material substantially encases the insert member.

Method for making a handle for a personal grooming device

A razor cartridge which has a housing with a pocket defined by a front wall and a rear wall. The pocket has a seat surface and at least one of the front and rear walls include one or more flexible segments. One or more blades are mounted within the housing. An elongated skin contacting member is provided that comprises a shaving aid composite that has one or more water-leachable shaving aid materials. The elongated skin contacting member has a body portion with an upper skin contacting surface and a base portion which is disposed at least partially within the pocket. The base portion has a bottom surface spaced apart from the seat surface. The base portion extends laterally outwardly from the body portion and is in mechanical engagement with the one or more flexible segments to secure the skin contacting member to the housing.
