A mount for a mobile device on an internal display screen of an automobile. A housing defines a volume and has a device side attachment surface and a back surface. The housing also has an attachment extension to couple to the internal display such that the device side attachment surface has a permanently fixed orientation relative to the attachment extension. The housing may contain a wireless charger and a first arrangement of magnetic material. The magnetic material exposes a pattern of magnetic fields at the device side attachment surface. The attachment extension has a display screen coupling surface with an arcuate contour that substantially mates with a contour of the internal display screen.

Fixed angle car mount for a mobile device

A protective case for a mobile device. A housing defines a recess to receive the mobile device. At least one chassis resides within one or a plurality of voids in the housing. Each chassis holds at least one permanent magnet contained within the chassis. The chassis are retained between a liner and a rim of the void. The chassis is/are biased to have an external surface substantially flush with an external surface of the housing when no external magnetic mass is present and can rise above the external surface when an external magnetic mass is present.

A protector for a wheel is formed from a plurality of segments. Each segment is formed from a synthetic material and has an arcuate distal edge of a first radius, the distal edge forming a lip to engage a distal edge of the wheel. Each segment has at least two spoke adjacent edges and an arcuate proximal edge with a second radius less than the first radius. In some embodiments, the proximal edge defines a hook to engage an inner recess of the wheel. Each spoke adjacent edge is configured to reside near a spoke of the wheel during use. In some embodiments, a protrusion extended from the lip serves as a pinch point when a tire deforms during an impact event.

Segmented wheel protector

A wallet for attachment to a mobile device. The wallet has a body defining a compartment and a device side surface. The wallet has a first arrangement of magnetic material with a first region exposing a first polarity magnetic field at the device side surface and a second adjacent region exposing an opposite polarity magnetic field at the device side surface. The wallet also has a second arrangement of magnetic material with a first region exposing a first polarity magnetic field at the device side surface and a second adjacent region exposing an opposite polarity magnetic field at the device side surface. Collectively, the first and second arrangements, in use, magnetically couple the accessory to a mobile device and cause the accessory to adopt a specific orientation on the mobile device.

Magnetically coupled wallet accessory for mobile device

A protector for a wheel is formed from a plurality of segments. A housing defines an internal volume including a disinfection zone and an object entry port of a size to permit entry by an object of interest with exposed surface area. At least one emitter projects a stripe of UV-C light into the disinfection zone. Wherein the apparatus has a small footprint and the emitter to exposes the surface area to greater than 3 mJ/cmof UV-C light in less than 90 seconds.

A mobile device accessory system including a first accessory device having a first front side and a first back side. The first accessory device has a first plurality of alternating polarity magnets on the first front side and a second plurality of alternating polarity magnets on the first back side. A second accessory device having a second front side and a second back side, the second accessory device having a third plurality of alternating polarity magnets on the second front side and a fourth plurality of alternating polarity magnets on the second back side. The first accessory device is arranged to magnetically couple to a device-side attachment associated with a mobile device and is interposed between the device-side attachment and the second accessory device.

Interposable magnetically coupled devices

Disinfectors that are touchless, high speed, or both for personal electronic devices and the like. A housing defines an internal volume including a disinfection zone and an object entry port of a size to permit entry by an object of interest with exposed surface area. At least one emitter projects a stripe of UV-C light into the disinfection zone. A drive under the control or a controller transport causes relative movement between the object and the emitter to expose the surface area to greater than 3 mJ/cmof UV-C light in less than 90 seconds.

Apparatus for rapid disinfection of personal items

A mounting system for mounting an electronic display device, such as an electronic display device, to various surfaces including nonferrous and nonmagnetic surfaces is provided. In one implementation, the mounting system includes a surface-side attachment affixed to a surface, and a device-side attachment coupled to the electronic display device. The surface-side attachment and the device-side attachment include a plurality of magnets with at least one magnet with an outwardly-facing north pole and at least one magnet with an outwardly-facing south pole per attachment that self-aligns the attachments when mounting the electronic display device to the surface. The surface-side attachment and the device-side attachment may further include mechanical features and/or high friction faces to resist slipping and shear forces when the attachments are coupled together.

Self-aligning, multi-surface magnetic mount for electronic display devices

A mounting mechanism for mounting an electronic device, such as an electronic display device, to various surfaces, including ferrous surfaces. The mounting mechanism may include friction pads for attachment to the electronic display device. In one implementation a plurality of magnets are embedded within the friction pads. Alternatively, the magnets may be directly attached to the electronic display device and covered by the friction pads. When the mounting mechanism is used to mount the electronic device to a ferrous surface, the magnets and the friction pad respectively provide magnetic and frictional forces so as to enable secure mounting of the electronic display device to the ferrous surface. The mounting mechanism may also include a frame disposed to be affixed to a non-ferrous surface. The frame defines a ferrous surface to which the electronic display device may then be mounted using various configurations of magnets and friction pads.
