A modular handgun system comprises an elongated universal trigger frame having a pair of slide rails and an accessory rail. The trigger frame is adapted to have a trigger assembly mounted thereto. The system further comprises a grip frame having an elongated channel and a hand grip extending downwardly from the elongated channel. The trigger frame is removably mounted in the elongated channel of the grip frame. The accessory rail of the trigger frame is positioned forward of a forward end of the elongated channel of the grip frame so as to be exposed. The system further comprises a slide and barrel assembly slidably mounted on the slide rails of the trigger frame.

Modular handgun

A modular handgun system comprises an elongated universal trigger frame having a barrel locking block, a pair of slide rails, and an accessory rail. The trigger frame is adapted to have a trigger assembly mounted thereto. The system further comprises a grip frame having an elongated channel and a hand grip extending downwardly from the elongated channel. The trigger frame is removably mounted in the elongated channel of the grip frame. The accessory rail of the trigger frame is positioned forward of a forward end of the elongated channel of the grip frame so as to be exposed. The system further comprises a slide and barrel assembly slidably mounted on the slide rails of the trigger frame.

An adaptor for mounting the firearm accessory to a barrel of a firearm. The adaptor may include an indexing component that aligns the accessory into a desired orientation. The adaptor may include a threaded interconnection as well as a spring biased interconnection.

Firearm accessory mounting system

A semiautomatic pistol having a barrel with an exterior surface that has a plurality of indentations and dimples to dissipate heat and reduce frictional engagement between the barrel and the slide. The barrel component includes a crown portion that is recessed to protect the crown portion by a pocket.

Firearm barrel

A replacement slide assembly for a pistol, the slide assembly having a barrel assembly with a barrel and a firing chamber. The barrel assembly also has a guide member which is a protrusion that extends horizontally outward from the barrel assembly. The replacement slide assembly also includes a housing with an interior wall that defines a groove that receives the guide member. The guide member and the groove in the housing are located forward of a firing pin assembly also mounted within the housing. The slide assembly or any firearm also includes an adjustable sight assembly that permits interchangeability between different types of sights without requiring that the firearm be re-sighted.

Firearm with interchangeable calibers and/or improved sights

A magazine extension for attachment to an open bottom of a magazine tube having a pair of sidewalls, a pair of end walls, and a flange on at least each of the sidewalls at the bottom. The extension includes an extension body having open first and second ends and forward and rear walls. The first open end of the extension body is slidably attachable to the sidewall flanges at the bottom end of a magazine tube. A bottom closure member is removably slidably attached to the open second end of the body and movable between open and closed positions. A latch member is slidably attached to a wall of the extension body to move toward and away from the magazine tube and open ends of the extension body. The latch member releasably secures the extension body to the magazine tube when moved toward the magazine tube and first open end of the extension body.

Ammunition magazine basepad extension

A sight mechanism for firearms such as pistols, rifles and the like. The sight mechanism includes a sight member that has a rear sight that is vertically adjusted. The sight member can be mounted on a vertically moveable member that has a fixing member that sets the vertical position of the sight member. The vertically moveable member may, without limitation, be a pivoting member. The sight mechanism includes magnets that bias the vertical member against the fixing member so that the magnets maintain the sight at the vertical position defined by the fixing member.

Magnetically stabilized firearm sight

A firing pin assembly for a firearm having an engagement surface that has a channel in an engagement surface with a trigger bar to reduce frictional engagement with a trigger assembly. The firing pin assembly also includes chamfers to reduce weight and an elongated firing pin end piece.

A firearm having a mounting surface which can include a recess formed on a slide of a pistol. The recess includes mounting posts and a plurality of sights include matching openings and fasteners so that mounting platforms of the plurality of sights can be mounted in the recess in a fixed orientation. The sights of the plurality of sights are movable relative to the platform but the platform is fixed with respect to the recess so that the platform is fixed with respect to the mounting surface. The recess is sized such that optical sights are aligned with original fixed sights.
