The invention relates to a magnetic-inductive measuring device for flowing substances with at least one subsystem respectively for carrying the substances, recording measuring signals through a signal pickup, generating a magnetic field through at least two exciting coils and a ferromagnetic core and bounding the measuring device on the ambient side of the housing. The measuring device is characterized in that at least one of the subsystems is entirely or partly formed by layers of fibre composite material and/or is embedded in layers of fibre composite material.

A device for suspension of a sample body which rotates in space about a rotation axis which is in a fixed position or is related to a fixed position, as a function of the intensity of a measurement effect. In order to ensure that a sample mass is mounted in the device securely and such that it can rotate very largely without any lateral movement, the suspension, which has at least two springs, for the sample body is designed to be planar in a rest position.

A device for examining liquids. A precise examination of liquids has until now only been possible where there are permanently installed evaluation devices. This disadvantage can be avoided with the device for testing liquids. It is equipped with a sensor, which has a measuring device with which any liquid can be examined. The sensor is able to be electrically and mechanically connected to a structural unit which is only slightly larger than a mobile radio telephone. Integrated into the structural unit are an evaluation device and an interface module. The measuring signals of the sensor are registered by the interface module and stored, evaluated and displayed on a display device in the evaluation device.

Device for examining liquids

An analysis device, preferably in the form of a floating buoy, is disclosed for the analysis of fluids, such as waste water. The device has a main body portion and a removable cartridge containing consumable ingredients for use in analysis.

Analysis device

A measuring device for determining the oxygen content in gases is described. The measuring device is disposed between two magnets that are positioned at a distance from one another. The measuring device is equipped with a sensor that is held rotatably within a frame. The sensor has two parallelepipedic bodies that are both made hollow or solid and are connected to one another via a web-shaped structural element. The web-shaped structural element is fastened to the frame via at least one holding element, so that the sensor can be rotated about its center of gravity. The amount of rotation is dependent on the quantity of oxygen that is concentrated between the two magnets. A current can be conducted through a conductor track led on the surface of the sensor and generates a correspondingly high restoring force by which the sensor is brought into the position of rest again.

An apparatus for measuring a contact pressure exerted by a winding compression element on a winding in a power device such as a power transformer includes a sensor having a sensor element which reacts to pressure or strain. The sensor is disposed in the winding compression element. The sensor is configured to communicate, via a radio link, with an electronic checking device.

There is disclosed a measurement mechanism for differential pressure measurement. The mechanism has two housing portions with flanges. A differential pressure sensor is force-fit between the two flange faces. An electronics board is connected to the differential pressure sensor by means of a force-fit electrical contact.

Mechanism for differential pressure measurement with removable differential pressure sensor

A differential pressure sensor has a first and a second measuring chamber. Each measuring chamber is limited by a rigid carrier plate and a diaphragm plate, which is formed in the region of the measuring chamber as a pressure-sensitive measuring diaphragm. To design the differential pressure sensor to be resistant to overloading, the carrier plate is arranged between a first and a second diaphragm plate and has congruent concave depressions on opposite sides in the plane of the plate. The depressions are connected to one another by a central duct, penetrating the carrier plate perpendicularly to the plane of the plates. In the region of the measuring chambers, the diaphragm plates are formed congruently in relation to the depressions as pressure-sensitive measuring diaphragms. The measuring chambers are coupled to one another by a ram guided axially movably in the duct.

Differential pressure sensor

A differential pressure sensor has a first and a second measuring chamber. Each measuring chamber is limited by a rigid carrier plate and a diaphragm plate, which is formed in the region of the measuring chamber as a pressure-sensitive measuring diaphragm. To design the differential pressure sensor to be resistant to overloading, the carrier plate is arranged between a first and a second diaphragm plate and has congruent concave depressions on opposite sides in the plane of the plate. The depressions are connected to one another by a decentered duct, penetrating the carrier plate perpendicularly to the plane of the plates. In the region of the measuring chambers, the diaphragm plates are formed congruently in relation to the depressions as pressure-sensitive measuring diaphragms. The measuring chambers and the duct are filled with an incompressible fluid.

Overload resistant differential pressure sensor

A separation column for analyzing a gas includes a capillary which is filled with a separation material. In order to be able to use the separation column in a microsystem technology, spheres are used as the separation material. The spheres all have the same diameter. The diameters of the spheres are slightly smaller than the internal diameter of the capillary or are matched to the internal diameter of the capillary. The spheres are provided inside the capillary in a row one behind the other.

Separation column for analyzing gases

There is described a capacitive differential pressure sensor made using glass-silicon technology with a diaphragm plate of silicon, which is arranged between two carrier plates consisting of glass. The diaphragm plate has pressure-sensitively deflectable regions, which are respectively provided with a capacitor arrangement. The capacitor arrangement is connected to a measured-value processing device through connecting conductors. To improve the ratio of the measuring capacitances to the parasitic capacitances brought about by the connecting conductors, the diaphragm plate is outside the pressure-sensitively deflectable region the substrate of an electronic circuit which comprises at least one input stage of the measured-value processing device.

Capacitive differential pressure sensor

A measuring and evaluating device for the analysis of gases is described. The device has an exchangeable gas analyzer, which is of small dimensions. The gas analyzer is a module connected directly from the outside to a central unit, which is likewise of small dimensions and into which at least one evaluating unit and a display unit are integrated. Fitted releasably into the gas analyzer are one or more plates, into which at least one separating channel is respectively integrated. Each gas analyzer is provided with at least one sample injector, which can be connected to at least one separating channel. At least one detector is connected downstream of each separating channel.

Measuring and evaluating device

A method and an apparatus tests liquids. When the method is implemented, following a reaction of constituents in the liquid with the maximum quantity at least of one free oxidizing agent and/or reagent contained in the liquid, the quantity of oxidizing agent and/or reagent remaining in the liquid is displayed visually as a measure of the quantity of constituents in the liquid reacting with the oxidizing agent and/or reagent. For implementing the method, use is made of a sensor that is configured as a sheet-like structural element and is provided with at least one inlet opening, a sample-accommodating channel, a mechanical pump, a transporting capillary, a detection zone, an emptying channel, and an outlet opening.

Method of, and sensor for, testing liquids

There is described a differential pressure sensor made using glass-silicon technology with a diaphragm plate arranged between two carrier plates. To achieve a high resolution at the beginning of the measuring range in conjunction with high overload resistance, the measuring diaphragm plate of the sensor has for a prescribed measuring range within the same measuring chambers a plurality of mutually independent deflectable regions as measuring diaphragms. Each such region acts as a part-sensor with a part-measuring range. The part-measuring ranges of the part-sensors overlap and in total are equal to the prescribed measuring range of the differential pressure sensor. The displacement of the measuring diaphragm of each part-sensor is mechanically limited outside its part-measuring range by the carrier plates.
