Disclosed is an electric machine () comprising a stator () that encompasses a winding system () with three winding branches, and a certain number of effective pole pairs. Each winding branch is provided with at least one coil group, each of which contains an even number of serially connected individual coils () that generate an individual magnetic field, respectively. Two respective individual coils () of a coil group are offset relative to each other in a circumferential direction of the stator () in such a way that the associated individual magnetic fields are provided with an offset electrical angle relative to one another at the sixth harmonic of the number of effective pole pairs, said offset electrical angle being equal to an odd multiple of 180&#xb0;.

According to the invention, an improved copper filling in the slots () of a permanently-stimulated synchronous motor () may be achieved, whereby such a motor is disclosed, comprising a stator (), with parallel-edged slots (), provided with a winding system of flat wires (), whereby the flat wires () each enclose a tooth () and are embodied as a tooth coil (). The flat wires () are wound edgewise such that the narrower side of the flat wire () faces the tooth () and each tooth coil () comprises at least two layers of flat wires ().

An electric machine includes a stator having slots of substantially rectangular cross section. The slots are subdivided into pairs of slots, with each pair of slots configured with parallel flanks, wherein teeth are formed between the slots and have alternating rectangular and triangular cross sections. Positioned on the teeth of rectangular cross section are tooth coils.

The disclosure is related to a driving arrangement for a drive motor which is provided with an electronic power stage (9) which is controlled by a current controller (13). During the commutation phase, a breakdown of the torque occurs in such drive motors due to the shape of the B-field current, so that the torque has a wavy shape. The torque breakdown can be counteracted by raising the load current in the commutation region. This raising of the load current during the commutation phase is achieved by the provision that the current reference value of the current controller (13) is increased correspondingly by means of an auxiliary voltage at the respective commutation instant.
