Process for manufacture of self reinforced sheets or shape parts () by rolling at least one metal strip (), which during roller processing is guided through a gap formed between work rollers, wherein at least in one area of the metal sheet () through holes () are introduced and the area of the metal sheet with through holes () is brought together with an area of the same metal sheet without through holes () or at least one further metal sheet without through holes () and rolled, so that a new metal strip (), sheet or shaped part () is formed, as well as a sheet or shaped part obtainable by this process, wherein the sheet or shape part is comprised of two metal parts () joined by welding or adhering, wherein at least one metal part is provided with perforations (), which correspond to the recesses of the self reinforced structure.

Process for milling metal parts

A structural member has in its cross-sectional plane at least two closed hollow-section chambers which are produced by rolling forming and which are made of a single sheet metal part, the at least two hollow-section chambers being provided with at least one longitudinal seam. Between the at least two hollow-section chambers, at least one intermediate web is provided which forms one piece with the walls of the hollow-section chambers. The at least one intermediate web starts out from the intermediate seam and, on the longitudinal side facing away from the longitudinal seam, is connected with an interior side of the sheet metal part.
